The amount of time effort and creativity that went into these girls' looks and 99% of them didn't know how beautiful they were. I think myspace images of really "perfect" emo and scene girls made us all feel like we weren't "quintessential" enough. But this ISSS quintessential, she IS the moment!!!!!!!!!!

The makeup and hair really isn't THAT complex (I'm speaking from a professional standpoint tho so), thought it sometimes COULD get that way. But typically not for most/every day looks. A lot of Scene and Emo looks just required a few colors, if that, and a good smooth black eyeliner pencil. Maybe a pen/liquid liner if you wanted something particular and maybe 3 brushes to blend things out. As time progressed though, makeup products and options improved and they now have more complex looks even for the every day, but the thing is, they're easier/faster to execute because of the advancements~ :) -A 29yr old Trad/Vic Goth lol
