I love what you said about differentiation a habits vs. needs. I think the hardest part about coming out of a relationship is breaking habits. A lot of times we may confuse “needing” someone with being USED to someone. And you know what they say “old habits die hard”. I like to think of singlehood as a time to reconnect with myself and start new habits of my own. It’s a time to discover things about yourself that you wouldn’t in a relationship due to groupthink. Also it’s Reaaaaaally important that we give ourselves a nice break between relationships. Serial monogamy can be just as detrimental for self as cheating imo. Great video Amber!

Being alone after a breakup is the best thing you could have ever done for yourself. I believe that you both could do with space and time to discover self, to grow separately, to realise like you say things that you do as habits and things that you do as a need or your reality. You being able to talk about this the way that you are speaking right now really show maturity and a great person that you are. Truth be told, some of us are still hoping you two could find each other again as twin flames🤷🏽♀️❤. Who knows what the future holds? 😅 Much love for you Amber. Stay amazing. 😗✌🏽

I have to say this has to be one of the best video you have broadcast in your history. The way you enlighten the audience and talked about your journey from a breakup to being single for an extended period of time. Yes, people have the habit that they are afraid to be alone and have the habit to jump into a new "relationship" quickly. I hope this video could help many women and men to heal. And take a long break and fight the temptation that "I need to be in a relationship". Relax, enjoy yourself and prepare yourself to be a better version from the last upgrade of you... Thank you for the sharing!!!

Am in the same boat as you and the best thing really is re-discovering who you really are and what you really want. And also going on a date with myself. Amber this video means so much to me. I completely understand everything you are saying. I was in a bad relationship for almost 2 years and I completely lost who I was. I became so co dependent in this relationship, I lost my goals, my dreams, and put my ex girlfriend higher than I ever put myself. I broke up with her and it was the hardest but the best decision I ever made for myself. It took me being alone and loving myself again to finally be happy. I realize I don’t need anyone to make me happy, I can make myself happy. 2 years later I am still struggling but it has gotten easier. I’ve been able to find new passions , and put my dreams first. It takes time and there are truly some days where you just want to break down and call your ex because you don’t think you’re strong enough and you think you need them to comfort you but for anybody going through this you are so much stronger than you realize and you will get through it and it’s going to be hard but before you know it you will be so much happier in the end

It took me a while to be able to sleep because I got used to cuddling. In a way, I'm glad everything happened since I genuinely found myself again after separating. Coming out of a 9-year relationship was hard. So I guess it was a blessing in disguise; I am still single and just focusing on my goals. Ready though to meet someone this year.

You taught me that when we get thoughts of someone and say we miss them its a habit from a part of our body and mind that was when they use to be there or their energy or maybe their voice with words or scent which we call that a memory .we just need to be in the present and create a new habit and block the illusion of them still being there when their no longer there .it isnt avoiding the feeling .its avoiding to not be not in the present moment and to be in the present moment not day dreaming but living it to live it is to call it how it is or learn to become the person that you desire and be the right person the happy person the person to make you happy the person to motiviate you . You are a good person thank you👌🏾♨️

Im just hitting 20s and Im glad I realized it this earlier Ive been following up with Amber since her previous relationship but I think this was the best video I have yet seen not a lot of people talk about mental health Im glad Im seeing more people deal with it now because it could really change your future

Why ?
@firecracka123k5 жыл бұрын
@@disabledaccount292 because I'm socially awkward and don't know how to form relationships with people. I can't even make a friend.

I wasn't in a relationship until I was 23. I'm 24 now and still with my bf. We've been going strong for a year. So there's hope girl.

It's been almost a year already! Crazy! Forreals tho. Being single has its ups and downs.. But dealing with anxiety when affection is the way to level me out is tough.

Honestly break ups are trash. Habits vs. True feelings.... definitely something to think about.

BEING SINGLE IS DEFINITELY HARD. KNOWING THAT IM CLINGY AND GET ATTACHED TO PEOPLE EASILY. THIS IS HARD FOR ME. IM NOW REVISITING MY PAST AND SEEING WHAT WENT WRONG AND WHAT I DID WRONG...... I FEEL LIKE IM ALWAYS IN TROUBLE FOR SOMETHING. I DONT KNOW WHY.

That’s really cool amber! You are truely soul mates when you can let each other go with the same love you both had for each other in the beginning! I really hope the universe has awesome plans for both of you with its together or individually ❤️🙌 so much love for you both 💕 keep being strong and an inspiration to many! 🙏🙏
