im a film and tv major at scad! it is really interesting to see the differences and similarities between our two schools! I just learned avid last year and it was a struggle but definitely worth it but as a fellow editor I recommend learning premiere pro and davinci resolve if you haven't already! davinici specifically because there are some codecs and proxys that avid and premiere can handle that they cant create but that davinci can.
