they are quite neat and in the low poundage durable. the grip is new, mine had a twine to tie together. the flaps could be even used as arrow rests on the hand, will prevent scratching of arrows. nice review

Thank you so much, Armin! The flaps did wear out quickly on Red, so I added K tape for the arrow passes on that bow and Blondie.

@@ambidextrousarchery What if we don't have K tape?
@ambidextrousarchery
@ambidextrousarchery Жыл бұрын
@@putaidanganimal1 Well, an arrow pass is not entirely necessary, but you could use guerilla tape, perhaps a leather wrap, or pursue a different option. Kinesiology tape was the avenue I traveled for additional bow protection once the flaps deteriorated. The bows were so inexpensive that some tape seemed like the option for me. Thank you for your question:)

Had 3 of them several years back. 18 pounder is still alive, "25 pounder" limb broke after 300+arrows. Got new one in same poundage, limb broke. Composed the bow from two surviving limbs - broke one again. Maybe process was improved since but be careful.

They are a lot of fun. We use them mostly with the rubber blunt-tipped fluflu arrows. You can shoot them at just about anything indoors or out. Not everybody who likes archery wants to hunt or needs to shoot sharp arrows at Olympic targets 70m away. This is near perfect for just flinging arrows in the yard and having fun.

i bought one of these in a promotional deal and it came with 12 arrows for a really good price … around £35 which is cheaper than most bows… i wanted to downsize… i don’t do much archery and feel my compound bow is taking up too much room as it doesn’t pack down like this one… i also found a nice cheap case that this and the 12 arrows fit nicely into in aliexpress…. i’m gifting my other bow to my nephew… he’s hunting and shooting mad!… i just like this now so much it’s my “survival” option along with slingshots and a crossbow pistol… all minimalist things…

The Nano Crabs for the price are fun with the right arrows. I use Arc Rolan Snake 50s and 60s for classes at school, with Crabs reserved for entry thumb with bare hand. Eventually, I do plan on investing in some Armin sets as the next bows for students in my course progression. Still, the kids love the looks and feel of the Crabs! The very young kids all shoot little fiberglass takedowns. Everything is ambidextrous so any learner can use the bows, other than two right-handed and one left-handed takedown recurves for students who wish to go in that direction after using the Snakes. Good luck making your decisions! I’d love to learn what you decide and how they’re received if you’re inclined to share in the future. 👍👍😎🏹

@@ambidextrousarchery yes I got one for my sister to try from horse back and it was slightly twisted but not a real problem with the low draw weight of 20-25lbs. I suppose it will be a problem that slowly increases if not dead straight but she hasn’t shot it much.

@@andrewsock1608 If the bow is quite twisted, I would probably return it if possible. I think the bows are fun for the price and useful for learning but not necessarily meant for everyday training.
@andrewsock1608
@andrewsock1608 Жыл бұрын
@@ambidextrousarchery it’s just very slightly twisted in one limb. Any twist will progress over time but I think it’s minor and not dangerous on a 20lb plastic bow. At worst it will throw its own string off if it gets too bad. For $50. I will work with it. Heating it up with boiling water tub could fix it right up. The way they ship and store them I’m surprised any reman straight. They were probably made straight and deformed under weight in storage and shipping in a hot climate. I make pvc bows so fixing up this one should be a snap thus I keep it. If I were not handy or lazy I would return it.

Only shooting 5 meters away cause that's all you'll get unless you buy VERY light weight arrows for it. It's just like the Sososhoot that was being sold on Amazon. Mine was advertised as being 25lb, but was really only 18lb @ 28", came down to 15lb @ 30" within a year, total kid's toy, not worth even making a video for (silly me, i thought it would've been decent warm up bow). The wood looking pattern on it did start chipping away too, showing white underneath.
