Music is one of the most spiritual of art forms for me, as the entire process of making or sharing music is entirely imbued in the present moment and does not linger. Each note and phrase arises in the mind of the musician, flowing through their fingers and instruments, or breath... and then dissipates, passing away into lingering memory (or recordings which for me become a form of time travel). Think about this... there was a time (pre recording tech) when what Sheldon (or any musician) created would only be experiencable in a room while they played it. Now through the magick of tech, these may be shared through time and space with as many who seek it out, or encounter it. Alchemy at its height!
