It's so generous of Neunaber to give away so many effects in one pedal, I realise it's similar to Toneprint but being able to load up entirely different effects is just amazing!

does the immerse do this?

Thank you so much for a thorough review of the effects and overview of the software! I've had the v2 stereo wet pedal for years and love it and just discovered and ordered the exp pedal that lets anyone store 4 effects with 2 presets each onto any one v2 pedal. Super cool stuff from Neunaber.

Neunaber concept on their pedals is incredible !!! Feels like a real game chaging thing in the world of guitar pedals for the future !

Thank you good sir for a wonderfully expressive demonstration. I must admit, my tastes in guitar are towards thrash and progressive rock, but your passion for ambient guitar is easy to see, and the way you play to your ears is.the mark of a consummate artist. Bless you Bill

I know it's probably never going to happen but i wish you would make an album or something. Just, something ambient-like and long.. For example, a longer version of the beauty you play at 11:13. Even if you never deside to make a longer version of this, i am glad it exists. Sounds i really liked: 11:13 11:49 13:43 14:56

Well Bill, I think you just sold me on one of these. Sold my other reverb stomp boxes and am looking for a 'one box does all' solution. Was thinking about maybe RV500 but the sounds didn't convince me... Gonna see if I can demo one of these this weekend! Great tones and playing as always, cheers!

Great review Bill! One suggestion, I think it would be nice if you started off your demos with a quick play-through of some of the sounds of what you are going to cover. Just so we can get a feel for what it sounds like before diving into the details. Happy New Year!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have been thinking lately that perhaps I am yapping too much at the beginning. I will give this a try on the next demo vid to see how it works.

Doubtless these are richer-sounding, but I'm really liking the multi-effect midi capability of the source audio system, if I were to splurge for a whole system. The Neunaber as a single pedal with controller, though, would be a pretty slick addition to my current board... So many pedals, so little time!

Great video, been a fan of Neunaber since I got my Immerse. By the way, will you be reviewing the Mooer Ocean Machine? The dual delay/reverb and ambient options look amazing in the latest showcase.

Thank you for your attention! I want to buy a Neunaber pedal just because of the Shimmer effect, but I am in doubt between the Immerse and Expanse series. All I care about is the quality of the Shimmer effect, so here's my question: Are the exact effects of Shimmers on Immerse and Expanse or does each of these series have different Shimmers effects from each other?
@chordsoforion8 жыл бұрын
The Expanse has 2 Seraphim Shimmer effects that you can program with the Expanse software, so I would say that the Expanse has more options than the Immerse.

Did you try out stock wet against the wet reboot? And which did you prefer? :) Great videos Btw
@chordsoforion8 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did try them both out. I do prefer the wet reboot, but the stock wet is no slouch!

Hmm...you're making frequently quiet ambient sounds and the EXP pedal doesn't have silent switches?

you should be high to enjoy such an ambient feel. look at his eyes...

I don't get high at all, and still enjoy playing ambient music. All need is the music, not the chemicals.

If Immerse has all the effects of Neunaber, why have an Expanse + EXP pedal?
@chordsoforion8 жыл бұрын
Actually, as awesome as it is, the Immerse does not have all the effects. there are some that are only available in the Expanse series.
@JessieThorne8866 жыл бұрын
Apart from what Bill said, the Immerse effects don't function exactly like their Expanse counterparts; the knobs don't go to 100% wet, and most of the knobs' travel there isn't much effect applied. Also, you can't customize the effects in the Immerse, whereas the Expanse effects can be tweaked in the software. Also, Expanse gives you free access to future algorithms and updates.

How is it an over-complicated system? I found pretty intuitive and very easy to set everything up.
