You could tap into the hot side of the fog light harness to get your 12v turn on.

Fire vid! So as someone who’s not that educated on wiring, I’ve got 5 of the same wire strips, I’m running & tapping into all 4 door cards and running the wire, which I understand. I’m just not that educated on the fuse tap... can you send a link to that fuse tap and can you explain how I can put it into my fuse box where it runs off the headlights so it’ll only be hot at night for ex: turning on the headlights or fogs = led strip on.... thanks in advance !! Sorry if I didn’t make any sense 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

From my trial and error, the under hood fuse box doesn't have a terminal that is hot when the headlights and/or fogs come on. The fuse will always be hot. If you want a 12v on source under the hood, you can use the "Radio" fuse, which is where I have my foglight DRL's ran to. When the car is on, my fog light DRL's are on.
