I slowed the video down- to fit the piece of music.
I got the idea from this video below- but wanted to do more somber music (though I am no Trevor Jones or Wagner- for which their music is beautifully suited to the film).

100% agree -I think it puts to shame a lot of more recent films. Comparatively they seem so shallow.

Lancelot gets all the acclaim but Percival was actually the best knight.

He was also the sole surviving Knight Of The Round Table. Not only did he find the Grail, he returned Excalibur to the Lady Of The Lake and witnessed Arthur sailing off to Avalon. At least in this theatrical iteration of the story anyway.

@@gravitationalpull5411 He did. He was knighted by Arthur himself because he was the only person willing to champion Guinevere when Sir Gawain, played by Liam Neeson, insulted her honor. You had to be a knight to challenge another knight to combat. Lancelot showed up in the nick of time to take over the role of champion for Guinevere, but Percival was already a knight at that point. Percival went on to earn that title though. Wow, I haven't seen this movie in over 35 years and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I am such a nerd.

Nicely done. Combining clips of Percival on his journey for the Holy grail with this music and no audio helped to exemplify the sacrifices these knights/men made for their King and Country. The love they had for their king. Accepting death and torture than to betray him. That loyalty had a impact on me.

100 percent agree. All the symbolism as well- The armour that darkens of the Grail knights as the country falls into famine and pestilence- Percival ending up in the river and shedding all his armour- to then stand before his king, God, and creator without his armour. That film just never loses its appeal

I make a mention in the description, why I did this music. It was in response to someone else using upbeat music that I didn’t think was appropriate. As I think, more sombre music is more applicable
