Same for me. I suspect the IP address given is not the same for all Ambient weather devices. Mine is a 2902C. Either that or I suspect when I connect to the Ambient wireless it kicks me off my house's wifi so then I cannot get to the Ambient device.

@@Alaskaforby4 I came back the next day and used the app, and it finally took my info. I think, it just got overwhelmed. Has been working good ever since.

Same problem here... Wind and wifi put it into wap mode but the SSID is set to password protected rather than an open network as shown in the video. Can't connect to the console at all... 😔

I can connect just fine but I'm unable to set time and date on my console. Whenever I press "set" the consoles displays its MAC address. There's no way to set time and date.

It would be helpful if you would state in your directions http vs https or some other port. Based on your video it looks like http. What happens when it does not respond to port 80 traffic? Telnet to port 80 fails so it is not listening.

Trying to factory reset my 2902D so that i can change my wifi or even put it into wifi access point mode. Even once in access point mode, the wifi for that SSID is password protected and not an open network as shown in this video.. anyone found sometjing similar ?

After multiple attempts to reach the setup page, discovered the security features on my web browser was blocking any connection to the weather station. I turned off the browser’s security feature, everything popped up, login was a breeze and now the WS is fully connected. Also, he doesn’t explain that at the first page where it looks like you need a password, you just hit ‘enter’ without putting any password in.

This is misleading, I tried to connect using this video and was unable to connect using 192.168.4.1. Had to call support and had to download an app on my phone to connect because some WS-2902 connect differently.

Nothing is working, i disconnected it once to connect it to a different internet and now it wont connect and they have nothing to help with that

I'm having the same issue as a lot of people here. I upgraded my router and now it won't connect to the new network and this web address he gave in this video is bogus, it keeps coming up with a cannot access message.

This video doesn't mention that after you click Scan Router, make your change to your 2.4ghz network and click apply YOU HAVE TO CLICK SAVE.... that's the missing part that will put your device back on the wire.

They finally called me back. I had to hard reset - unplug, take out batteries, plug back in and hold center buttons. It fixed the error asking for the password. I also lost my data.

What is the admin password?! The lack of support for this product is so ridiculous. I've probably spent over 24 hours working on how to reconnect my device to WiFi after I changed providers.

Support is a joke, they will get to as soon as they can. I have been waiting for almost a week for the first response. My guess is it will be an unrelated AI generated response. Why do you suppose they make it impossible to find a phone # for support? Pay close attention to the comments here. Run don't walk......
