Something interesting if you've ever considered collabing with other content creators. (This was kind of inspired by the keeping this playthrough a secret joke) Each person does their own Rimworld playthrough. Same start (same seed, same location, same starting characters and items, etc). The challenge is to see who lasts the longest (or reaches a determined goal first), with the unpredictable events and personal playstyles being the deciding factors of who ultimately succeeds. Because it's a challenge, both channels will get traffic from respective fans wanting to see the progress of the competitor compared to who they're rooting for. And "victory" can be based off of in-game days (shortest number of days to reach the goal) so that both sides can play whenever works best for their uploading schedule without worrying about keeping up with the release of episodes of the other.

Is there a mod where downed enemies are less likely to die going on here? I get that early game weapons and skills are bad, but I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had 2/2 survive the first raid… If so, I want it. That’s one of the main reasons I’m not committing to saves… That and stupid social fight injuries. My crafter had a finger bitten off, and my dang combat jogger had a toe ripped off. I can’t imagine gouging an eye. There should be a “good, clean fight” mod for colonist social fights, and a “don’t shoot to kill” one that lets you micro capturing that 15 intelligence pawn… I’m so burnt out on save scumming, but I love this game.
