Sharon! Please journal your progress too! Ambos are such amazing travel vehicles and I want people young and old who can’t afford a sprinter know that they have another incredible option. Also, jealous of the 4x4 and will convert mine within a year

Wondering if you installed the rooftop solar because…I left a comment on the FB ambo page that you might want to coat your roof with Henry Tropicool. It’s energy star rated and can cut down the heat in your rig by several degrees using reflectivity. You can roll it on like paint. It dries in about 15 minutes. If you do use it and have a way to measure the temp of the ceiling inside it would be cool if you can measure the temp before and after the application. Would be fun to see the results on a video. It costs $100/gallon. I’m not sure 🤔how it would look but, if you have extra you can coat the roof of the cab as well taping it off to make a clean line.

Space for batteries is important the more you use power the more batteries you will need but that depends on your use... I’m saving for a ambulance myself will probably get one next year sometime even if I have to get a loan.
