AMBRE NUIT OR 40 KNOTS - WHICH ONE IS BETTER? FRAGRANCE VERSUS

I have both and agreed on your take my friend, I wear AN in the fall and 40K in the coldest days of Winter for it's lasting power.

I have both and me too I love Ambre Nuit more. But they are both excellent and different enough to not be redundant

I smelled 40 Knots just once and have owned Ambre Nuit before and i say, that Ambre Nuit is far superior in terms of complexity, and craftmanship. Sadly it really lacks performance and the Ambre Nuit Esprit doesn‘t fix that as it is a diffrent scent. And as far as Xerjoff is concerned, I am disappointed. I have sold all of the brand's fragrances because, in my opinion, they do not match the quality of the scent of the long-established French houses. They often have scratchy synthetic notes, or start to annoy because they penetrate the nose in a linear fashion. For me it is Ambre Nuit for sure!

I would go for xerjoff as the versatility is way better. Also what has not been mentioned. 40 knots smells different on different weather. Ambre nuit smells awesome and a bit more complex , but i do not know when would i wear it. It is definetly too sweet for warm weather and too weak for cold weather. Maybe office or home would be perfect occasion. Performance is very disappointing for the price.

99% I agree with all what you have said, with the mention that due to its subtle sillage, the Ambre Nuit is more versatile in terms of when and where to wear it. Somehow 40K becomes an annoying smell for me after a while, kind of the one you want to change your shirt from .. Thanks for watching

I like both, 40 knots turns to a soapy scent on my skin. Ambre Nuit is more “sexy” and alluring but lacks the longevity.

Hello my friend, that is very accurate. 40k transforms into something linear, while Ambre Nuit "lives". I wish it was a bit stronger, but maybe then it would not smell as good?

Offtopic , daca ai ales ambre datorita ambergisului sau daca pur si simplu iti place ambergrisul, ar trebui sa incerci lune feline daca nu l ai incercat. E superb

@@razvanyke la fel si cu lune feline.. nu e cel mai performant dar mirosul este destul de special. E o vanilie destul de masculina si matura , asa cum miroase o pastaie de vanilie. Poate il vei incerca, astept video
