Fantastisch team work. Pas als je ooit zelf in een ambulance lag waardeer je dat nog veel meer denk ik. Zoals ik hier in Australia: 180 km country ambulance - 320 km air ambulance - 30 km city ambulance .... , 24 uur na tractor ongeval eindelijk in intensive care. Vertraagd door mega slecht weer. Dat was 4 jaar geleden. Dankzij professionele 'ambos' & 'coppas' en leef ik nog !

Can the dutch please explain me 1 thing: Why are there 2 ambulances? Like in Germany we have 1 ambulance car and if necessary a smaller emergency-doctors-car. 2 Ambulances only exist for 2 patients and they rarely leave at the same time

In Holland if it is a cpr they send always 2 ambulances. Booth take care of the patient, only 1 drives with the patient. The other takes sometimes family to bring them to hospital.

Altijd brok in mijn keel bij het kijken van dit soort filmpjes. Moet ook wel adrenaline opleveren bij de rijders zelf. Over dienstbaar gesproken.. :) Wel bijzonder om te zien dat ongeveer 4 volwassen mensen dat stapje extra doen voor een onbekende soms met (bijna) gevaar voor eigen leven. Heel veel respect mannen!! Hebben de rijders wel eens contact met de patiënt achteraf?

+Re wan Most other times it's just the front bikes saying which lanes to take when nearing an intersection. Or to lookout for speed bumps along the way. The commander bike (directly in front of the ambulance) states how fast the ambulance is going and the colour of the traffic lights they are nearing and how far they are from the nearest bike/intersection.

Unkel Dolan thank you but i was aware that he is doing that. what i ment is that i would like to understand it so i can get a better picture of the background stuff behinde the blue lights ^^ in switzerland we don't have convoys like this and some of the "big citys" are still way to small to warrant something like this so its verry interesting to see it. but it would paint a better picture if i would be able to see all the colours :) as in understand the communication and terminology behind it.

Re wan Oh well it's nothing that special really. Just a way to transport an ambulance without it having to brake or accelerate rapidly. It provides a smooth ride in the dense cities. It usually involves a transport from one hospital to another hospital. Because one maybe has a better expertise in something specific that the patient needs. So the routes are mostly the same and pre-set. Afterwards the ambulance driver and the police bikes reflect on the ride. What went wrong and what went good, what could've done better etcetera. Nothing more to it than that really. It's a very basic but effective workplan.

Mooie beelden weer! Dank daarvoor. Respect voor jullie verkeersinzicht en durf; vanaf 11:00 zit er toch een behoorlijk snelheidsverschil tussen de cameramotor en de rest van het verkeer. Op 7:14 rijden jullie een afgekruisde rijstrook op. Is deze strook speciaal voor dit transport afgekruisd? Zo nee: hoe weten jullie dat deze strook vrij is? Is er tijdens zo'n spoedrit een directe verbinding tussen RWS en de verkeerscentrale? Hoe snel kunnen Politie en RWS daarin schakelen? Blijkbaar heeft het fluiten een functie én effect. Wat is de officiële reden en wettelijke status van de fluit? (behalve dat ik soms wat frustratie lijk te horen?! ;) ) Komt het voor dat de motorgeleiders onderweg bekeuringen uitschrijven voor types die de boel echt totaal vernaggelen? Zijn de motorgeleiders een vast, op elkaar ingespeeld team, of per inzet verschillend? Bij voorbaat dank voor jullie reactie. :)

Dat rode kruis is een spitsstrook. Dus niet speciaal voor ons. Wij vragen nooit een kruis aan voor een begeleiding. Maar als deze er al in staat zullen wij deze wel gebruiken als het nodig is. De taak van de voorste spitser is om te communiceren met zijn commandant om door te geven of de rijstrook vrij blijft etc. Dus met RWS hebben wij geen contact hierover. Officiële reden gebruik fluit? Aandacht en attentie. Wettelijke status; geen. Is alleen ter ondersteuning. Onderweg stoppen en bekeuring uitschrijven gaat uiteraard niet. In geval van een exces zal er even snel een kenteken worden doorgegeven via de mobilofoon aan de wachtcommandant. Maar komt niet veel voor. Te druk voor. Wij zijn met 30 motorrijders en kunnen in elke samenstelling op elke positie een begeleiding doen op dezelfde manier.

Of je ze bekeurt is een tweede, maar een briefje met uitleg (en link naar dit filmpje) in de hoop dat ze volgende keer beter opletten of gewoon doen wat je zegt zou wel eens kunnen helpen. En met film is het kenteken achteraf te achterhalen.

Hey, es war eine Eskorte eines Krankenwagens, die wegen des Patienten, den sie transportierten, eine vorrangige Eskorte angefordert hatte. Videobeschreibung auf Deutsch: Das Krankenwagenpersonal hat über einen Krankenwagenkontrollraum einen Antrag auf Motorunterstützung von einem Einsatz in Zoetermeer bei Erasmus MC in Rotterdam gestellt. Nachdem diese Anfrage vom Kontrollraum des Krankenwagens genehmigt wurde, geht die Anfrage in den Kontrollraum der Polizei und 3 Motorradfahrer werden an den Standort in Zoetermeer geschickt, um diese Hilfe zu leisten. Eine Ambulanzberatung wird grundsätzlich von 3 Motorradfahrern des Team Traffic (1 Kommandant und 2 Streikende) durchgeführt. In diesem Video sehen Sie 1 der Streikenden.

Nein jetzt ernsthaft: Je nachdem wie akut der Transport des Patienten ist kann der Rettungsdienst die Polizei zur Amtshilfe herbeirufen, um einen schnelleren und geschmeidigeren Transport zu ermöglichen. Vor allem bei neurologischen Fällen oder generellen Polytrauma(ta) und sonstigen Fällen, bei denen ein sofortiger und schneller Transport notwendig ist, sind solche Eskorten nicht selten. Hier in DE eher unüblich (wenngleich nicht ganz ausgeschlossen).
