Better written than many shows and films that deal with this even today, the simple sentence of Bianca saying she has no shame in who she is without hesitation, 20+ years ago, absolutely life changing and probably life saving moment. I know the writers messed this up later but for this moment these are the right two characters to deliver this so well. Loved it, ❤️✌️🌈!

I don’t see why Bianca and Sarah didn’t pick up their relationship again. They both said they still love each other and Sarah is accepted by her mom now. What’s stopping them?

@RetroBinxMontgomery Are you digitizing your own collection of VHS recordings? I recorded AMC everyday and would tape over/cut around all the Bianca stuff. So, for a while I did have all the Bianca stuff going for a couple months but I erased the tape. Thanks for uploading all this. I missed most pre-Frankie stuff so it's great to see new stuff and re-live memories of the stuff I had watched. Bianca meant so much to me! :)

@msbunnypaws Someone had gave me some of there old AMC tapes and put them on a DVD for me. I just edited the Bianca clips and posted them online.B/c I only started watching AMC when I was 12 back in 2001 I had always wanted to see Bianca's coming out story line and stuff that happened that was pre-Frankie and I was sure that there were other ppl who wanted to see it as well and nobody had put them up so I decided to.

@msbunnypaws I do think that this is the last time Sarah appears. I think Bianca wanted to go Europe w/ her but Erica wouldn't let her. But I am not sure. I had to read that from old transcripts. I have never seen AMC pre -2001 until recently and I can't manage to find any other AMC episodes from March -November 2001.

Unfortunately in a perfect world all parents would accept their kids not matter what. I think they love their children but they can't accept homosexuality. They may just tolerate it. Many people don't approve accept or don't tolerate it because of ethical or moral reasons.

Which is sad because it’s not something you have any control over. In laymen’s terms, homosexuality is a person who gets sexually turned on by a person of the same sex. You don’t CHOOSE what does or doesn’t turn u on! You have no control over that! U can’t tell yourself “no no don’t get aroused! Be unaroused right now!” It doesn’t work that way. You can’t make yourself get aroused when u just don’t. It’s that simple. So many lives have been destroyed because so many people are too stupid and ignorant to understand it. It’s not religion it’s not politics it’s not ethical or moral values. People have no control over who they fall in love with! You can’t force yourself to love someone and you can’t force yourself to stop. Trying to do any of those things will only drive u INSANE! I think Sarah’s mother may be gay. She talked about how she forced herself to be happy with Sarah’s dad. I think more people are gay/bi then they care to admit. People have not wanted to get to know me simply because of my sexuality. I try to see it as a good thing because if you’re that bigoted and narrow minded I don’t want to be friends with you.

@@greenlee7smytheI suspect Sarah’s mom is gay too. She’s obsessed with propriety and she saying she didn’t want her husband to come near her, and then not seeing what the fuss was about. (Which I interpreted it to mean she didn’t enjoy it.) I think she’s acting this way because she’s suppressing a lot.
