I checked the benchmarks for blender rtx 4060 score is more than the score rx7800xt . For gaming Amd cards are great but for productivity they still have long way . I hope they do something. Intel arc is getting good but definitely not in the stage of preferring it over nvidea . Arc still have issues with gaming .

for video editing and streaming (as well as other productivity tasks) this holds true, cuda is just so much furhter ahead then anything competition can hold, but, the rx 6600 is $100-$200 cheaper (depending on your country), you can't really use rt on either card, and as they're both 1080p carrds you won't, or at least shouldn't be using upscaling, also, xess exists, and thats a great alternative to dlss, given, it has a few bugs but 1.34 is coming out soon and those should largely mitigates those minor hiccups.

The 6600 is great and I’m considering getting one of the models myself however but in an about 3 years this video will be old and so will the opinion, however the 12gb 3060 will still be talked about and compared while played the newest released for many years to come. That’s why it’s got my vote, it’s got good performance but I have a feeling it’s going to hold a spot for a while as a good budget card.

I love AMD for their gaming performance but they need to up their game in content creation and rendering. It’s frustrating seeing NVIDIA force us to buy their most expensive card so we can have a useful amount of VRAM. And it’s so they can make money off of their non-consumer grade RTX QUADRO series because they refuse to make an affordable card with ram.

RX 6600 XT has been the best performance for dollar ive ever seen out of a card. Slight undervolt while maxing out its clocks and it runs like a dream and pushes 60 fps in almost everything even at high settings. At least in 1080. Not bad for a 200 dollar card.

No, the video only shows games where the 6600 is good. If it were to do general testing, 3060 is much better in terms of ray tracing, dlss and productivity. (On cp2077, I get 80fps at RT Ultra Fg on ultra settings. In Diablo 4, I get 110 fps on RT ultra and graphics ultra)
