Again they are only going to release 16GB version only, They did the same with Book 4 pro 360 as well. People really demanding 32GB variant but they are just ignoring it. Will go for Lenovo or Asus with Lunar lake😐 Also price point is too high compared to others.

For Samsung this appears to be a good pc. My usual gripe with this is the poorly designed numpad. They should redesign it or remove it. If they remove it they could then center the keyboard and TouchPad which would make the layout much better. Display looks very good. Camera looked good and speakers sounded good. Great preliminary review. With all the reviews you put out recently I guess it keeps you out of "mischief". Seriously appreciate all the hard work you put into these reviews.

It looks like a very nice laptop from Samsung. Nice port selection, gorgeous AMOLED display, great overall build quality device. Not sure if your other viewers noticed it but I thought the colors of the webcam looked somewhat dull and washed out to me. Perhaps it needs a software update to fix it. You're right about the speaker quality sounding better on this laptop than on past iteration. The audio quality of the mics is clear. Interested in you putting this laptop through its paces in studio. Thank you Andrew for the first look of the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 (Lunar Lake) for 2024! 👍😁

Hi Andrew! The feedback I'm looking fwd to the most is regarding the trackpad and palm rejection issues. I have owned the 16" GB4P 360 as well as the 16" GB4Edge and the trackpad has been the Achilles heel for all Samsung 16" laptops, specifically the horrendous lack of palm rejection causing a miserable and frustrating typing experience with that comically oversized trackpad in the way.... If samsung somehow found a way to magically resolve this, it would be a game changer. Thanks!

Motion designers should buy the Ultra with 4079 dGPU and just use a professional pen tablet. I have the SGB4U and use a Xencelabs medium pen tablet that I place over the keyboard deck. Works good since the screen is multi touch enabled so you can draw in your lap and navigate the OS with your fingers. I would LOVE if they made a Ultra version of 360 though with 32 gb of ram and a dGPU

@@sumitdasgupta6462 I think the ultimate crearor device is probably the Microsoft Surface Studio Laptop 2. I kinda regret not getting that over the Ultra. I know it's not as powerful, but the form factor is perfect. It was just too expensive for the spec. Like over $3K for an i7 and 4060... but now looking back I wish I got that instead. Still, drawing with a tablet over my laptop and navigating the canvas with multi gesture touch is pleasurable and it's a really great display so I can't complain to much.. still not the holy grail but nice. There's always a sacrifice.

Thank you for the review and I am a huge fan. I must disagree with you regarding the price and features of the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. I am not saying that the price is not premium, but there is nothing in the market today that offers a 16-inch AMOLED display for less than $1700 with all the features you speak of. To stay at or under the $1700 price, you give up one or more features. If you want haptic touch pad and 2 terabyte of storage you are limited to a 13 inch display. Or if you want these features all in one laptop you are into the $1900 price range and higher. In my evaluation it will depend on what your requirements are, but Samsung has hit the right balance of price and features with the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. Let me know if I am missing something here but I am thinking of upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. Also from my experience the thin and light design of the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is wonderful for a 16-inch AMOLED display 2 in 1 laptop.
