I just watched the documentary and after surviving a traumatic car accident which left me a quadriplegic. I'm surprised that there weren't any cases of car accident survivors in the documentary. I feel that a lot of vehicular TBI survivors aren't included into these documentaries. My accident has become a part of my life, for nearly 10 years I have become a public speaker telling my story to thousands of people. I lost my dearest friend in the accident and I'm speaking for him as well, considering that he was in the army reserves I feel for all of the army stories involved in this documentary but there is a huge void when you don't include vehicular TBI survivors who are also struggling to this very day. I would gladly like to contribute to their next documentary that they release!

I've been waiting for this day. I'm so glad you're talking about this!! I suffer from post conncussive syndrome and ADHD. I had 6 concussions in l0 years. But, 3 of them were with 1 year. I'm from NH. I'll have to look up these people's work as well as Dr. & Mrs. Amen➖Thank you for all you do. 🙏💖

These therapies are great and I’ve done many of them after my tbi with decent results but how are people like myself that have not been able to work or get disability since the accident suppose to pay for these treatments?

Jerri is an inspiration. Thank you Dr Amen and Tana for this podcast. I'm considering the brain wellness certification training. I retired from public school teaching in April 2019 and have decompressed after my teaching career with kindergarteners and 1st graders. I'm ready to step and do more!

I need to watch the documentary today! I was in a car accident and now have post concussion syndrome. I've had a hard time finding help and understanding because nobody knows about this. I know I didn't until it happened to me.

I myself...suffer from post conncussive syndrome and ADHD & PTSD. Unfortunately. I had 6 concussions in l0 years. But, 3 of them were with 1 year. 2 of them caused me staples. It's such a mess. The last concussion (2017) I got, was because I was hit in the head, on my left side with a husky hammer, and had 8 staples. I'll have to look up these people's work. I'm from NH. Thank you for all you do, Dr. & Mrs. Amen!! God bless you both. At this point my neurologist basically says there's nothing else he can do?!? I really need Dr. Amen's help 😢💖 Is there a Amen Clinic coming to Boston any time soon?? I pray to God it happens someday soon. 🙏💖

HELP!! I need to learn how to manage this onset of hypoglycemia!! I need orthomolecular and natural health help - no meds. Supposedly, I am non-diabetic (5 ft / 100 lbs and I don't eat super unhealthy, eat very little sugar, almost zero junk food, and I make my own food at home - very rarely ever eat out... ) This past weekend, I had the worst attack I've ever had and I just can't live this way. There is literally no reason I should have had an attack - nothing changed in my world but it just seemed to hit me from out of nowhere. The only thing that did happen is that I started my period but I've never had an attack like that right before my period... I have got to get some help with this. Do you have any videos on this or can you recommend some good orthomolecular / natural health channels to follow here on KZbin? In addition to yours?

Where is the closest clinic to Toledo, OH? I'm a medical mystery. No Doctor's listen to me except for my pain management Dr. I have sooooooo much more going on. I've fallen flat on my face as a kid on the sidewalk. As a child, while building a snowfort I was hit in the forehead with a shovel. As a preteen I was hit in face playing softball twice. I was also jumped by a group of guys from school who struck me in the back of the head. I've been in 5 major car accidents. I was also severely abused by an ex lover who raped, sodomized, assaulted me in the head with his fist and kicked my head and neck with steel toe boots. My neurologist says I have Trigeminal Autonomous Cephalgia, Pseudotumor Cerebri, TBI, Migraine w/Aura. I've developed a constant right eye spasm, I sometimes feel like I have a tremor and recently I have been feeling like my brain and heart reset/reboot in short microbursts. It's frightening.
