Agree 100%. IMO, "be ready" means 8 different things: 1) Be physically fit. Able to jog a few miles and able to hike for about a dozen (with gear); able to fireman carry an average sized man or woman 2) Have the proper firearms, ammunition, and cleaning supplies along with the knowledge to use them 3) Have 90 days of food and water supplies (water if you live in an arid state) 4) If possible, have likeminded family and friends that you can rely on 5) Have the proper equipment (clothes, map, compass, firestarter, knife, etc.) 6) Keep various forms of currency (Cash, precious metals, cigarettes, alcohol, candy etc.); being able to trade is key 7) Don't live in cities. If not possible, all of the aforementioned items should be doubled. Yes, doubled. Even food & water. 8) Get right with God, because if there is an event in USA that will permanently change our way of life, no one is safe

I’m ready brother Chad. I’ve been a born again Christian since 2006. I put all of my faith in Jesus Christ. I don’t see anything wrong in prepping, storing up food/water, PT, staying sharp with weapons, hand to hand combat exercises, and having a solid plan for when crap hits the fan. All that said, I don’t feel anything can prepare us for what is to come. Yes, I train, and do all the things I just mentioned, but I feel that nobody is safe anywhere and this world is literally a gnats butt away from witnessing events so catastrophic, so powerful, so significant that the mind can’t possibly fathom. The Bible states that 1/3 of mankind will die in one day, let alone the days that follow. The one thing people must do is forget about this life and prepare for the next and get our souls right with Jesus Christ today. Because without him, we are nothing. The wages of sin is death, eternal separation from God. I dunno about anyone else, but I look forward to worshiping my savior for eternity.

Florida from 2000 to 2023 is MUCH different. Quality of life & $$$ issues are a lot different. Some things are better in FL but many points can be FAR better or safer. The gap between rich & poor, the way to get decent wage jobs, careers(skill training) is slowly going 📉.
