@@sawmillguy9706 more like the most misunderstood presidency. Most of the things he dealt with were beyond his control, and he was the ONLY president to actually take the short term popularity hit by making tough monetary decisions for the longer term, for which Reagan incorrectly was given credit. Jimmy Carter was jokingly called "Carter the Farter" in Europe. That well was his reputation and Europeans could not understand how the Aermicans tolerated what this man had done to a great country. He donated all the money to those who voted for him - all the money that did not belong to him. He made himself a Multi-Millionaire and gave all the hard-earned money of those who worked to THE NEEDY - on welfare. Since looting people's savings accounts was such a pleasure for him - he gave teh Panama Canal built and paid for by Americans to a political hack in Panama for $ 1. A real Christian act of love.

@blinded196118 күн бұрын
I agree. now, if he could have just went straight to the helping humanity and skipped the presidency, that would have been great. he created the dept of edu as political payback to the teachers union, that wasn't acting in good faith. that was selling out the country. I could name at least 20 other things he did that are still hurting America to this day

Jimmy Carter is the only president that I actually shook hands with. I was a senior in high school and president of my FFA chapter. When I attended the national convention, there was a meet and greet with the presidents of new FFA chapters. He was a peanut farmer before he became president. But to be honest, he was a better farmer than he was a president. 😊

I ALSO SHOOK HANDS WITH HIM AND DINED WITH HIM AND LISTENED TO HIS SPIEL ABOUT WHAT HE PLANNED TO DO IN WASHINGTON AND VOTED FOR HIM; IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL AFTER THAT. BUT HE DID TEACH ME TO NOT VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS. I REMEMBER FEELING BAD THAT HIS BLACK DRIVER HAD TO TAKE FOOD TO THE LIMO TO EAT. THAT WAS NOT COOL

People die everyday from various circumstances. One person's life is not more important than another's because they're high profile. Yet this is what the world does. They value one person's life over another's. All life is precious.
