The insane and irrational behaviour of US politicians reveals their great sense of desperation and clearly shows that the US is in serious decline. However a declining empire is at its most dangerous n will lash out aimlessly in all directions trying to drag the world down with them.

Now that it's clear China is ahead with EV, it wouldn't surprise me if US and Europe would stall their charging stations infrastructure rollout. I mean they would really be stupid to set the stage that will bring ruin to their automakers. They never cared about the environment to begin with.

In full agreement with you. It is just another western colonial mindset to put the brakes on the progress and development of the global majority by forcing them to abide by rules and standards that will hamper their progress and development. Rules and standards that the US regime led West themselves never seriously adhere to.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Here is why some of the reasons West afraid of China? 1) Manufacturing superiority over US. 2) Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) = WEST failed BBBW. 3) Better Infrastructure > US collapsing infrastructure & deteriorating public facilities. 4) Beidou = GPS. 5) Heavenly space station = International space station. 6) China Cheap Electric Vehicle (EV) > US internal combustion engine & Expensive EV. 7) Huawei 5G & coming 6G > US 4G & 4.5G😅 8) China lifted 850 millions people out of poverty > US incredible surge in homeless & surging middle class poverty. 9) China strict Drugs and Guns Rules. > US drugs addiction and Guns violence mass shooting. Safety problems. 10) China strict anti corruption laws > US disguise political corruptions by lobbyist as political donations.

US battery technology will take years to expand production and catch up. Meanwhile, US carmakers will be forced to use more expensive, less advanced batteries, which in turn will mean they will have no chance at ANY part of the world market excepting maybe some European countries if the U.S. manages somehow to cordon off this market for themselves. Meanwhile, Americans will be condemned to EV’s at multiples of the price of better Chinese vehicles, which means that there will be minimal uptake, which will further lead to the collapse of any EV production except for Tesla. If the U.S. then tries to ban American companies opening factories in China in cooperation with Chinese companies as Ford has announced it will do, this will also kill any chance that such companies will have a shot at the global market. Talk about a suicide policy.

The USA is a tiny market in the world, and raising tariffs on Chinese EVs hardly has any effect on Chinese EV expansion worldwide. The Americans building a tariff wall to close themselves off from the world is a desperate defensive action in survival mode, calling it wiping out China's EV companies is like a bleeding knocked-out boxer whispering on the canvas that he will beat the winner. It is simply delusional or hallucination for the Americans. The West has given up on competing with China in the Green Energy fields like EVs, solar and wind energy; as well as in 4G nuclear power, 5G and 6G communication, etc.

By the mid ‘60s the U.S. auto brands dominated the domestic as well as the international auto market. Government tariff and subsidies helped GM, Ford, Chrysler, and American Motors capture the auto industry. These companies wallowed in profit while making little effort to advance the quality and reliability of the automobile. Their first wake-up call came from Japan’s Toyota, Honda, and Datsun in the mid ‘70s. The Japanese automakers were hungry for a piece of the U.S. auto market; they introduced small, fuel efficient, reliable, and affordable vehicles which the Big Three disparaged as “ made from Budweiser beer cans.” But these Japanese cars offered as standard equipment at no extra cost the electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust system, fully equipped with stereo, power brake-steering, and even AC. Instead of addressing QC production and design problems the Big Three lobbied for and received trade protection laws that forced the Japanese auto makers to open factories in the USA in the mistaken belief that equalizing labor cost would erase much of Japanese automakers’ advantage. They were completely wrong; the Japanese ate their lunch. By the 1990s, the once mighty GM commanded only 27% of the domestic auto market -- down from the record 85% market share achieved in the ‘60s. Both the Japanese and American auto makers entered into a de facto detente ; the Japanese recognized the political backlash that would arise if GM , Ford, and Chrysler file bankruptcy. The Big Three accepted the fact that the Japanese automakers have established a beachhead stronghold that can’t be driven out. For the next 30 years both sides didn’t want to ‘rock the boat’ by introducing the next greatest and latest technology - especially EV and battery technology. Across the Pacific over one dozen Chinese and foreign automakers competed for a slice of the domestic auto market. A few small Chinese companies went off the beaten path to develop EVs - a R&D endeavor the Big Three regard as far fetch. Fast forward to 2020, these Chinese EV and battery startups are poised to bankrupt GM and Ford. Decades of government trade tariff and protection laws have all but destroyed US automakers competitiveness. Instead of addressing the real problems afflicting the domestic auto industry, the U.S. government elected to double down the same solution: more draconian trade tariff and protection laws.

China EVs are lowly priced to eliminate any chance of cultivating a competitor. US pricing is to reap excessive profits from those who considered a life style to own western branded products. This greed is an opportunity to be exploited to make them affordable to the general public
@Anonymous------
@Anonymous------ 5 күн бұрын
@@sktan3743 China is selling at reasonable prices according to the production costs. Car factories in China can produce cars at costs much lower than USA because Chinese factories are fully robotic automated with very little human labor involved, also the factories make most of the parts from raw materials to finished products, this way cut down huge amounts. All lands are owned by the state not privately owned, factories get free land use, this saves factories a lot of money.

It's even crazier, the US is looking to pass legislation banning crcuial electronic components from China or this with a significant degree of software from China. US legislators don't seem to understand global supply chains (certainly not automotive supply chains)! The extra costs will go to the US OEMs, who will turn to India (probably) for software and generally pass on increased costs to customers.

The USA used to pride itself on capitalism and free trade, now it is against free trade when it can't complete, fortunately they are just the head of Europe and no longer has the sway it once had, the BRICS group contain the overwhelming majority of the worlds population and are getting stronger as US/Europe declines, one would think the US would work with China in order to grow stronger and have a massive increase in trade yet they are not, I can not understand it.
