The difference is that in Europe you come to support your team no matter what their situation is. As a high school student here in America, when we were losing 1-2 a football (soccer) game and there were 2 minutes left, everyone started to leave. In Europe if your team is losing 10-0 and there are 5 seconds left, you stay there until the last whistle.

Bundesliga), the whole Stadium is chanting over 90 minutes. The athmosphere of the 1. FC Magdeburg Stadium is called to be a „Hexenkessel“. Perhaps you can translate it with „Witch Boiler“ or with „couldron“. 1. FC Magdeburg is called to be one of the loudest stadiums ever (with just 27000 viewers capacity). I was half hoping the city ground would have been featured singing before a game especially a video From the Trent bridge to see how loud it is

Im surprised England fans weren't in this, when you have 80000 peeople singing god save the queen its quite something. Or the atmosphere at premier league clubs.

The original video mixed it up a little bit. For sure there was the French national team playing (and therefore their national anthem) as well as the Romanian team at the end, so you could compere it to the USNS playing and the crowd chanting the Stars and Stripes. I imagine at 10:18 at was the Romanian team playing, but not sure of that. It's a total different vibe when your club team is playing compared to your national team in Europe, even if for many supporters they will be as fanatic for their club as for their national team. Big difference: you'll almost never will see national flags in Europe when your club team is playing, only during games betweens national teams. Rather strange, as a European, to see all those national flags in the NBA, NFL, ... games. In Europe, when your club team is playing, those are the colours you're supporting...

Football is my religion, this is the European concept of ultras/hooligan group. And maybe also for more random fans on the stadium.
