Thanks for taking the time to watch! I'm positive that we used 9 on that particular evening - I remember having to taxi around the end of 4L on taxiway B. We also made a right turn onto the active runway, which isn't really possible on the 4s without making a really funky taxi route. You can also see a jet on final for 4R at 1:58.

@kubla777 It does, although I haven't been patient enough to figure out how to turn RAW on. One of the main reasons I still hang onto the G9 is its time-lapse video mode, something that many newer cameras (even the G10 and G11) don't have!

@MrTodd198126 Yep. I can't remember now, but I think we leveled off briefly and a few seconds later we got cleared to a higher altitude so we throttled up again. The engines were just adjusting to keep the plane at a constant speed.

Crap man that's one pair of bad ass Rolls Royce engines!The lat time I flew on a 757 was over the summer though it was a united plane and we never got to hear the scream of those engines cause we were stuck in the back.Was yours a -200 or a -300?

Nice video, but I was slightly disoriented at the beginning because you had written in your comment that it was runway 9. If the sunset is out the left window and downtown Boston is behind you, that is runway 4L.

9 is facing east over the bay. The sunset would be directly behind you taking off. Unless, somehow, the planet was turned around.

ur lucky 2 have a row 2 urself, especially in 1st class. I've flown 1st class on AA's 757 before and i may do it again on my family's cen. america trip this christmas cuz were in 1st 2/from our layover in miami and in business 2/from cen. america. my mom got the seats cuz they were cheaper than coach and even got my family access to the admirals club.

Kind of...take a look at the satellite view of the airport and you can see that even though 9 is 091 degrees magnetic heading, it's actually pointing a bit northeast in reality. Plus, there's no view of the terminals during takeoff, and after takeoff you can see the peninsula that was built for the 4/22 runways and 33R/15L :)
