"In Russia finding a bear is super easy" Да что вы говорите, Асоль? Всего то надо пойти в зоопарк, ну или совершить 10 часовой перелет куда нибудь в глубь Сибири или на Камчатку. Is this probably a joke about the ease of finding a bear? No, if you live beyond the Arctic Circle, or somewhere in the depths of Siberia, or in Kamchatka, then most likely it is. Bears sometimes come close to houses there. But in the central part of Russia, it already seems that they are not even found in the forests at all. The easiest way to find a bear in Russia is by going to the zoo.

I had so much fun taking a look at these Tik Toks with Asol and learning more about Russia! I definitely learned things that I didn’t know before! Also please don’t take what we say too seriously- it’s just for fun. There are stereotypes everywhere you go even though they aren’t true, and we should all be respectful of each other. Also one of the things that is important to know is that all countries have both poor and rich parts- the USA and Russia are large countries so our experiences could be completely different from other people’s experiences. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed the video, and I look forward to more “just for fun” opportunities like this :)

I enjoy learning alongside, also. One thing I thought from a different video with you and Asol was the caste system in Russia, but I didn't comment as it might not have related to the video. But I am 25 and I have never sought a meeting with him, but nevertheless such meetings have happened as many as 2 times. Next USA vs India reaction
@gregmuon3 жыл бұрын
I think we need more bear video reactions. 🐻I've seen bears and been quite close to them, actually probably within a couple feet since I've heard them sniffing around my tent at night while camping. Western black bears I wouldn't say are tame, but they're mostly interested in your peanut butter sandwich, or whatever else you have to eat. It seems like it might be similar in Russia. I've heard in the eastern US they can be way more aggressive.
@johnalden58213 жыл бұрын
My experiences with black bears in the eastern U.S., is that they generally are just going about their business. It is important to never feed bears, or even allow them to get your food (you know this, I am sure). Because any bear that associates people with food will eventually become aggressive.
@individualofuniverse91103 жыл бұрын
I guess the bears in Russia are friendly enough to roam around like that? Most of the time they shy away from attacking humans violently depending upon their behavior in different habitats but still they are very unpredictable & may attack ruthlessly. I find it strange if what she said about Russian bears is true.
@Doctor.Whommm3 жыл бұрын
I live in Russia, and I don't think it's true. Those videos are usually published by people who either train bears, or constantly feed the bear, and he has been used to them since childhood. In general, it is as easy to find a bear in Russia as, for example, in the USA. Maybe even harder. To do this, you need to get to certain regions, with untouched nature, and wander there for a while, in the right season, without making loud noises, so as not to scare the bear.

I’m afraid of bears. Actually of most wild animals. Hence why I have been in the woods but refuse to sleep/camp out there. Even in some US cities we get coyotes, alligators and such you have to watch out for.
@johnalden58213 жыл бұрын
It is generally safe in most places in the U.S. to camp out, unless there is a specific warning about a problem bear in that area. The important thing is to never have food of any kind in your tent. Many places have lockers or poles where you can store the food, or otherwise you can use a rope to hang the food in a bag from a tree. Just hang it 100 feet or more from where you put your tent. Also, it helps to camp in established campsites or with a group of other people. Bears generally do not mess with people and usually avoid them whenever possible.
