Minor correction regarding diet. While both badgers are omnivorous, American badgers typically hunt and consume far more meat than European badgers. Euros are more insectivourous and feed primarily on earthworms and other burrowing grubs/insects along with various roots and fruits. They’ll kill and eat other animals, they’re one of the few animals that effectively prey on hedgehogs for example, or scavenge carrion but it’s generally easier to get their protein from worms and grubs. American badgers, however, feed primarily on ground hogs, gophers, and other burrowing animals. Another major difference between the two species, is European badgers are far more social than American badgers. Euro badgers live in large family groups up to 20 or more individuals, consisting of multiple generations of young and adults usually lead by a dominant matriarch. American badgers are much more solitary with mothers usually rearing one or 2 cubs at a time by themselves and the young leaving within a year to stake their own territory.

It's not something that is common, but it is documented and we have many examples of Foxes and Badgers living in the same burrow (albeit separate for the most part) and we do have examples of them hunting together. Again, this is not common, but it is true. The main reason people are unaware of thes behaviours is because more often than not, the two are aggressive (mostly the Badgers) with eachother. Perhaps you should read more.

Mustilede family members , are apex predetors people might laugh but they realy are . They are highly intelligent , have speed , strength , agility , thick skin and dense fur , a defensive spray that stinks , an immune system that neutrlozis poisons and bacteria . Have no fear , hunt and attack prey and fight other predators 10x their size . And breed as fast as rodents . 6 weeks pregnancy and 6 months to adulthood . that makes them extremly dangerous .

I have the civilised variety visit my garden in NW London from spring to autumn and have never been bitten despite hand feeding for over a decade. If i move too quickly or startle them they run for the shadows, rather than attack.
