I was shocked when a person on the radio said that Penny Marshall had died. She was really funny on Laverne and Shirley. I like watching that show. The characters named Lenny and Squiggy on that show were really funny.

Didn't they screen the people who asked these questions? I'll bet that guy with the dog food question thought he was hot stuff.

Dear God, what a J.O. that guy is that asked about the commercial. His girlfriend should be so ashamed to sit next to him.

She was absolutely beautiful back in the days. I had a major crush on her. But then she aged and gained so much weight. I wish she would have taken care of her health more.

nice, easy interview. apparently Dick Clark was a producer of THE SSAVAGE SEVEN.....Penny's first movie. IN , what I think was her only appearrance onany Letterman show, Letterman "picked" on Penny for playing an indian in that movie. She did not appreeciate it....saw it recently o youtube. com

I wonder why her accent wasn’t as thick back then.?
@LittleAlice77945 жыл бұрын
Her voice probably changed because she smoked.

She moved back to NYC at some point and stayed there the rest of her life and so likely the accent just got stronger

I think when Laverne and Shirley moved to California the show went down hill. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Final Nail in the Coffin was when Cindy Williams left the show and it wasn't the same Plus, the 80's saw changes in both Laverne & Shirley and its parent series Happy Days
