Please, no more mask comments on my old videos. There were barely any corona cases in Tokyo at the time of filming this. Few Japanese people were wearing masks outside in early March. Only Chinese immigrants were all wearing them all the time so this video gives you a false sense of the environment in Tokyo at that time. The corona situation has changed a lot now and I wear a mask on camera, when I used to take it off on camera before. Please be aware that this was filmed long before things got serious. Context is key. -Anming

Samiya A I appreciate your opinion, but I want to share asian culture with the KZbin community. In the West it’s not such a big deal to show someone’s face on a public platform, but for Chinese and Japanese it is. Many people don’t ever put their face online at all and substitute it with a profile picture of an animated character. KZbin viewers should be aware of this when they watch these videos. It’s a big taboo in asian culture.

This authenticates the experience and is very enjoyable as a viewer. I see that your subscribers are growing. Ten K, wow! May I offer some advice (if you have a chance to read this :)? Keep it real when replying to the comments. Not implying that you are not, and I know there are quite a bit to sift through. I'm sure there are statistically some "undesirables" as well. But in the ocean of comments, there is, perhaps, the opportunity to connect with others and receive life-enhancing interactions. As much as you give of yourself by sharing your life in vlogs, you can reap the benefit of connecting with all of us as time permits and as you feel led. It is more important to have a few quality interactions that many empty ones. Personally, I would rather not receive a "like" if you haven't had time to read or consider the comments. To get a "like" without a response is akin to being just another number... I am not offended in any way. I still enjoy your videos. Just consider, as you do with your vlogs, the opportunity, and quality of each interaction. What dilutes businesses and relationships is the lack of attention to detail. I hope that you keep the vlogs real and the interactions genuine. In all sincerity, Johnathan.

Even if the surgical masks dont protect you from getting sick, alot of people don't realize they are sick until well after they are infected. If everyone wears a mask, regardless of type or if they think they are sick or not, it will decrease the chances of everyone getting sick in general. Plus, at least in Korea, if you go out without a mask nowadays people look at you strange and kinda avoid you. I wonder if its like that in Japan too. Anyways, stay safe!

„We don‘t have much control over what‘s going on in our governments“ *laughs in swiss democracy*

むく you must be fun at parties :) There‘s no country which is perfect or „very good“ It‘s not like my generation was responsible for those late applied voting rights lol. And yes switzerland has one of the highest levels of democracy, there‘s no other country with the same instruments, such as the referendums and the popular initiative which have the SAME impact or significance on for example the constitution and can be used by general public. I too am for legalizing your beloved herbal medicine, but as long as it‘s not legalized, you gotta deal with either smoking private or pay the fine. Using this argument to measure democracy literally doesn‘t make sense, lmao that‘s not political science. You‘re trying to make something look bad because you personally can‘t smoke a blunt in public. Sooner or later this will be solved too but for now there are more important issues to be solved.

Healthy eating isn't just about what you eat, but also when you eat, where you eat, and what you're doing/thinking about while eating and right after eating. If you walk enough and are positive enough, health is easy to maintain. In actuality we take in more light and air than water and food, so it's no wonder masks are a big thing now with so many environmental toxins, often invisible to the naked eye floating in the air.
@spaniosskopos93674 жыл бұрын
I maintain a similar weight consistently whether I eat a lot(and I can load up on carbs) or a little simply because I am not lazy and also know how to spend time relaxing/meditating. Life is all about balance, and we are always going back and forth between working in motion and resting. A sign of good health is if you can spend a long time in motion and also a good amount at ease in rest. Even when you are in motion, you should be at ease, because being at ease is the opposite of disease. Your emotions should be controlled. Don't let your emotions control you. Let reason and common sense be your guide. Your heart is there to back up and give more power to your positively enlightened mind.
@thehelluvaparty5634 жыл бұрын
I've watched many language videos similar to yours, but usually by Americans in American Chinatowns. Yours are legit, the real deal. Why learning in an immersive environment is the way to grok the true value of a second and third language. I was stationed in Germany in the 70s and still understand most Germans and enough to be understood by them 40 years later. Very encouraging. Best of luck in your adventures.

Neyelson Alves - you are correct, and they do it out of misplaced paranoia. That in turn, is a reflection of poor judgement (as well as poor spy craft) -- which leads to wasted resources. All the while, the real threats go undetected (because they don't make KZbin videos). The upside to this episode is that Anming's videos garnered attention precisely because of the quality of its unusual content.

I just discovered your channel and want to say I LOVE IT! I am also an American traveling throughout SE Asia for the last couple of years, and watch a lot of KZbin videos posted by like-minded travelers. Your channel is one of the few ones that just has a natural, easy-going, and genuine feel. I also love your sense of humor, envy your command of Mandarin and Japanese language, and how easily you are able to relate to those who speak those languages. I would give anything to be able to do that! Also, contrary to what you said in one of your videos, I am American and I happen to think you are very pretty! Anyway, just wanted to say "Kudos to you!", and I hope this whole COVID-19 thing get resolved enough that you can return to China soon. Wishing you the very best...and keep the videos coming!
