As British English is different from American English... Long back when I was in school My English teacher told us that British English has many differences when it comes to American English... Many statements and word positions ,voice change, and narrations which are used in American English is considered grammatically incorrect in British English... Isn't it true... Please please please make a video on that correcting her.. It would be both informative and funny as well... Sorry English is not my first language...

After seeing what the roads are like in England, compared to USA and Aus, the roads are narrow and tight, so props to you, Monica, driving a manual/drive stick car, driving on the opposite side, and having a patient teacher in you, Sam, I am not suprised that you nailed the driving. I would have freaked out I am sure, driving a manual/drive stick is too hard for me lol.

I am from India where we follow British rules for driving. I was in US for 6 years and hence have good driving experience. In 6 years i got pulled over for only once for not stopping at yellow (but was driving to hospital). Considering this was your first time driving a manual, you did extremely well. Manual is pretty challenging considering you have gear changes and an extra pedal, which can be very confusing and takes a while to get use to, depending on the person and how often you practice, and for your first time with manual, well done to you, you nailed it 👍

you don't have to find the bite every time you change gear. You just press the Accelerator as you let your foot off the Clutch, if you find the bite you are more likely to create an accident with someone behind you going into your rear end. Only find the bite if you are at a complete stop or if you have stopped on a hill at a junction or at lights together with hand brake to prevent rolling backwards.

Loving her confidence, his face at 6:34 😆 I had the same look on my face when my wife said that lol, it's terrifying because they don't know what it's like to have to accelerate quick or accidentally kill the motor with cars behind you especially on a hill and it can go bad quick... definitely easier on instructor when it's not their own car!

And constant slow driving and stopping with a manual is just hard and boring because of the clutch. That’s why I started driving a automatic in 2012. It has his benefits i have to say. Anyway great driving from Monica, first time stick shift, steering wheel on the right and driving on the left side!!! I say well done💪👍.

I learned driving in Austria. There it's also really common to see stick shift cars, because they're cheaper than automatic transmission ones. So I also learned how to drive with stick shift transmission, however what I would struggle with, is that I'd have to use my left (weaker) hand to shift gears. I would NOT enjoy that.

I'd love to see Monica driving in Swindon, specifically, The Magic Roundabout (which for those who don't know, is basically, 5 mini-roundabouts (all clockwise), which are themselves arranged roughly in a circle, connected by roads in both directions, which form two larger roundabouts. The outer roundabout is also a clockwise roundabout, and the inner circle is anti/counter-clockwise. This therefore means there multiple ways to use the roundabout. For example, if you're planning to take the 4th exit, normally, you'd simply go clockwise past the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd exits, then exit at the 4th exit. But with the Magic Roundabout, you can simply go round the mini-roundabout that you enter, then turn right, then go straight to the 4th exit, the "wrong way". Or you can just get completely lost and do something weird, like turn left when you enter the roundabout, make a complete U-turn around the next mini-roundabout, go back to the original mini-roundabout, but go straight past it, to the 4th miniroundabout, keep going anti-clockwise, past the next roundabout, then turn around at the next roundabout, and go back past the previous roundabouts, to finally exit. This sounds more confusing than it actually is.

It was my first time visiting the UK in 2001. I had no intention of driving because my friend was going to drive. Due to unforeseen unfortunate events (he got pickpocketed on the London Underground), his military ID, driver license, and passport were stolen. We stayed in my friend's flat in East London and they wanted to visit Stonehenge & Bath. The minivan (apparently, a minivan is actually "mini") was dropped off and lo and behold...it was an automatic! I think the most scariest part of it all was driving through London. As soon as we got to the countryside, it was fine until we had to drive back to East London.
