I am gobsmacked by the generous viewers! Those individually wrapped Russell Stover candies can run about $20 a box or about a dollar each. I know because my dad had me source him some for Valentine's Day online. I found their website and he now orders regularly from them. Happy Easter. We went to Aldi's and bought one of their big eggs for the three of us since we just moved and need to be frugal (and healthy).

The cheese in a can (spray cheese) used to come in multiple varieties, and there were different cap tips to make different shapes. There was a Swiss and a cheddar, and even one with mushroom mixed in. They should do a peanut butter with marshmallow.

My mom used to work at Russel Stovers when they were still owned by the original owner. She worked there while she was pregnant with me and I used to make her crave the chocolate with the vanilla crème. To this day that remains my favorite chocolate candy.

It's very rare we drive by that store so it's not like were eating this on a weekly time. Her favorite ones are the caramel. She still wears the company jacket she was given when she worked there. People come up to her all the time to tell her they love the chocolate lol.

Best childhood snack memories: Easy Cheese in the American Cheese flavor (we called it Squirt Cheese where I'm from) in a nice spiral (like piping icing on a cupcake) on top of Nilla Wafers or inside Bugles. The Russell Stover place where I live they have a back room of all clearance Russell Stover’s and they have boxes that are 3 pounds of all mixed Russell Stover chocolates that didn’t meet the criteria to go in the regular boxes for like 12 bucks, love Russell stover!! Great boxes 😊💖

Russell Stover started by making boxes of mixed chocolates. I think is is a British custom to take a box of mixed chocolates to a show or movie. The one pound boxes come in "Assorted milk and dark". They also come in all milk, soft centers. Dark soft centers. Several other selections such as milk or dark nuts and crunch, etc. I don't know when they started making the individual holiday items but the fillings are what would be in the one pound boxes. Has anyone sent you Whitman's chocolate? They were a Philadelphia Co that Russell Stover bought out a while back.

Whitman's was the chocolate I grew up with in the 40s and 50s. Always a box at Chrismas. Sometimes a 2 lbs box. I would keep the box to put treasures in 'forever.'

Not sure where in Florida you are going to but if it is Orlando. You need go to Disney Springs to check out Ghirardelli chocolate shop there and they a crepes shop next to the bridge near the Rain Forest cafe side. In Kissimmee which is a city next to Orlando they have a chocolate factory that has tours it is near the Fun Spot off US 192/Irlo Bronson. You can find a bunch of cool stuff to do and eat in Kissimmee. If you get a chance, you should do an airboat ride(they're everywhere in Florida) they are blast. Well, I hope you have a great time here.

The spray cheese is usually just put on crackers and eaten as a snack. One of the more fun uses however is if/when you are scuba diving or snorkeling you can take a can and spurt some out for the fish. They'll swarm to it. Also I've always liked to get a jar of peanut butter and put some on the solid chocolate bunnies - dunk their ears in the jar. :)

It’s an old home week for Kansas City. Gates is still my favorite KC barbecue sauce. It’s old school before the new KC type of sauces came out around 1986. There’s a recipe out there if you want to make your own. It’s fantastic on chips/ fries, as well as meat. KC is one of the three major regions of barbecue. There’s at least 60 barbecue restaurants, each with their own smoke profile and sauces.

Easy cheese is always OK on crackers and way more fun than slices of cheese, but I've used it on a hot steak and onion sub with easy cheese ... Yum, and we also like it squeezed on celery slices. When I was a young girl in Southern California I worked in a Candy Shop that had large hallow chocolate eggs that came in two halves, my job at Easter was to fill those eggs with 1 pounds of assorted chocolates from the store, they were all delectable and the eggs were pretty great gifts. Thanks for sharing your haul with us, that was pretty neat to watch.

The Russell Stover bunnies are in my family's Easter basket every year. this year we have the lemon one that you tried and the caramel one you tried and my son's absolute favorite which is the cookies and cream. I’m 11 months late watching this but it’s so fun! I live maybe 35-40 minutes drive from the Wildwood Russell Stovers store here in Florida and it’s always a must stop when passing by lol! Wow, great video and wonderful treats! In St. Louis we don't have anywhere near the variety of Russell Stovers that you received in your box. Stores are very selective and often stingy about the Russell Stovers that they sell, so we get jipped by the smaller selection. I can't wait for BBQ season.
