I have a very crucial question. What if I use the card to reload my Paytm wallet, and then transfer that money to my bank account from Paytm? Considering wallet loading charges of 3% from credit card and overall reward rate of 8.5% on total of 4 lakh spending, this would still give me a minimum 5.5% reward rate. And then I would pay the card from my bank account resulting in a circular transaction (Card to wallet to bank to card) Is this considered fraud or is it okay?

MRCC is better if your annual spends are less than Rs. 4 lakh.

@@sagarkorde On spending 4 lakh on Platinum travel you get 40K bonus reward points and a Rs. 10,000 Taj voucher whereas if you spend 4 lakh on MR card (assuming you spend 20,000 per month and you've done at least 4 transactions of 1500 or more) then also you get 24000 bonus points. That's why we said that if your annual spends are less than 4 lakh, MRCC is better. If spends are 4 lakh or more, Platinum Travel is miles ahead.
