American Flag on 2000 foot cliff

El Capitan in Hildale Utah is a hike that puts Angles Landing to shame. In this video I hike the 1.5 miles of 2000 feet vertical to raise a HUGE American Flag. El Cap is in Zions Backyard. A group of locals worked hard getting everything ready for Old Glory to fly over Hildale and Colorado City. Located on the Utah/Arizona boarder and off Hwy 59. This flag can be seen from the hwy if you are traveling from Kanab to Zion National Park or from Zion National Park to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

We saw the flag today driving back from the North Rim today. I told my family about how you guys hauled all the equipment up there. Pretty cool. 👍
