The empty seats at the Geelong ground are because they have been re-developing the Stand and the re-fit is not finished, therefore no paying customers in that area.

Ashcroft won't be rushed back early he did the knee mid year so its a 12 month recovery but yes he will be back , My Detroit Lions can't get any lower than 3rd seed in NFC playoffs hopefully we can win that first playoff game then who knows what can happen ,take care my friend

Love your passion and enthusiasm. I'm a Collingwood and Hawthorn fan, with a soft spot for the Lions and Saints. Having lived in Melbourne since childhood, I remember Fitzroy who relocated to Brisbane. That's why I don't have them as my main team, were they still in Melbourne I might. And the poor Saints, only one premiership in over 125 years, I can't hate them. Am subscribed and look forward to seeing your videos next season!

bit late to the video on this one but I had a bit of a laugh when you talked about the crows letting charlie go to the lions. A large part of the reason he came to Brisbane was because a lot of his family is here. Yes, at the time when he was traded (2017) the Lions were still getting the wooden spoon, and the glamour of footy here didn't exist, and to a lot of people that looked like a losing deal (you will never get the same kind of public figure recognition for being an AFL player in Brisbane like you would in Vic or SA - QLD is not an AFL state), BUT for some people that is a benefit, not a drawback. Joe Daniher came to Brisbane on the promise of excellent medical treatment and time away from the Melbourne fishbowl (the Daniher name is practically Bombers royalty and to a lot of people he wasn't living up to the hype). But yeah, Australia is big, and a lot of footy players are just people who love their sport. It's only natural to want to be closer to family and be happier for it. The Brisbane Lions themselves proved with the Go Home Five that you can't force unhappy players to win games. (Also, different story but Lachie Neale was traded to the Lions from Fremantle. As a Lions supporter during the dark days, it's so wild to me that we've become a "destination" club)

Waited all my life to see the Saints win a Premiership, some years waited all season to watch them win a bloody game so I could go to work without doing the walk of shame. This year we were on top of the ladder for 5 weeks, made it into the finals and apparently did all that without kicking a fucking goal according to biased AFL goal of the year pickers. So the bloody AFL can well and truly go and get FAAARCKED.

keep in mind its a victorian game so some games are still new in other states i know in NSW and Queensland they follow rugby more, also they are trying to get Tasmania involvoled so the lack of fans could be just thats what state are playing in

That Geelong game that looks like there isnt any fans in the stands is because Geelong is building a huge new stand and it wasnt quite ready for fans to take their seats. It will be packed when the new Selwood stand is open.

But I could not be more excited about my Baltimore Ravens. 🏈 After my Collingwood Magpies went all the way, can I possibly get my wish to see the Ravens win another Lombardi trophy. Well I didn't want to count my chickens.. but the Ravens beat the #1 NFC 49ers. Ravens with 5 interceptions. Now "we" beat the Dolphins 56-19, 5 TDs. And definitely not Adelaide Crows supporters. 🤣 "Right in front of me...." 🤣 The people I know that are Crows supporters are just the one guy who I used to see at the local pub. He was a nut that reckons everything is rigged. I said that if the Grand Final in 2017 was rigged, then wouldn't it have to be the Crows who rigged it. He was a knob. He reckoned the EPL was rigged the year Leicester City won it. Me and this other bloke asked him if he watched any of the matches. No. Then how can you say that it was rigged? "Because Leicester is a sh1t team." He said. He said the same thing about Richmond after they won and they won two more. Some people are clowns. You should check out some NFL, Dave. The season is almost done. My Ravens are looking good and it's very exciting. College Football is down to two teams. Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies. If you don't have access to the NFL you can get highlights videos from their KZbin channel. Check out what the Baltimore Ravens did against the San Francisco 49ers. The Detroit Lions game had an amazing ending. Even search for "amazing ending NFL 2023" and something exciting should come up. Some species of Crows are more intelligent than others. Like parrots are. Ravens are almost like humans, that is why they are freaky.

All things considered, Charlie Cameron punched out of the Crows at exactly the right time; I suspect if he hadn't gone when he did, he'd have gone in the next year or two in the aftermath of the incident with the Crows' 2018 preseason camp. Hard to say why he went; his contract went up until the end of the 2018 season. He apparently requested a trade home to Queensland and, well, clearly the Crows had no problems giving it to him. Ah well; their loss, Brisbane's gain.

That last goal from Josh Kelly from the giants, it shouldn’t have been a goal, I was at that game, it happened right in front of me, I was sitting ground level, before he got given the pass, his teammate had prior opportunity and we tackled him and he dropped it and it should’ve been holding the ball hence why the crowd was booing at the end, cos a stadium of 65k Saints fans know that it was holding the ball and we had momentum going into eh end of the quarter and that ruined the momentum
