Thanks for the heads up on the sale. Funny thing is, I never thought much about AG until watching this channel. I got my first one last week, Truly Me #91 and I must say, I finally get the love for these dolls. She was only $25 at TJMaxx because she didn't have a sticker and the manager just made up a price. I didn't argue 😉 I am trash naming dolls but I think you should make the new one your mini-me!

so glad i stumbled into your page! i got a number 75 asian boy doll since growing up i’ve always wanted an american girl doll but also felt excluded because, i mean as the name suggests, it was tailored towards girls. i’ve never really had an inclination to get any of the other dolls…until i found your page that is haha. this past week-ish, i’ve been watching all your videos and doing research on pleasant company. i have a super obsessive personality lol and i have the collector gene for sure. lo and behold, i’ve become obsessed with kirsten and actually found a good deal on an an early 90s one on ebay! it’s so fun scouring for her accessories and im so excited for what’s to come with the collection. i won’t be too fussy about dates of stuff but definitely older and better condition is the goal lol. will i stop after kirsten? time will tell 😭🤭😅

I had pretty much decided to skip the Black Friday doll items, then decided after watching you that the new trunk was a genius idea! I love the trunks i already have (Samantha's, Kirsten's, Josefina's, and Addy's) but my boy doll (Logan, aka Hero Boy from Polar Express) has no place to store his clothes! Thank you, oh Grand Enabler! It will be interesting to hear what your boy doll will be named. But I suspect i'll just always think of him as Jonny.

Or is that too Home Alone? 😂 I actually love the idea of getting 104 for my son once he’s a bit older. I like his wig better than the previously released blonde boy. I also bought a doll from the Amazon sale, #80! I’ve wanted her for a while, and I got the price down to $39 after gift card balance. Then I went back to AG for two of the rereleased Molly camp outfits. I wanted some duplicates, and $20 is a great price.

We have the 104 doll and I have collected handmade outfits for him from Etsy sellers, in addition to some AG clothes and accessories. He’s a very well dressed doll at this point. I often take parts of girl outfits and repurpose them for the boy. My granddaughters love having a boy as part of their play. I have always thought the 2023 nutcracker toy soldier outfit would look awesome on the boy doll. My doll has some cool historic outfits, some jackets with dress shirts and ties, a navy suit, a pair of spats, a knickerbocker outfit. I’d like to get a Lord Fauntleroy outfit for him.

Love your awesome collection. I saw that Amazon had the AG dolls on sale and I ordered one of the Truly me dolls. That was Wednesday. But went to Amazon this morning (which is actually Black Friday) and the dolls were back up to $115.00.The only one on sale for $80.00 was Corinne. Strange. I also wanted a boy doll but I may just get Corinne.

My TM #104 named himself. I bought him a few months after he was released (and TM #113) because I missed out on the previous boys due to not having the money at the time I started collecting - Jan 2018. By the time I did have the money (Christmas 2021) I tried to order #76 and #77. Neither one was available. They never got anymore #76s in but did get #77 in in either Jan or Feb 2022 so he was my first boy purchase. From that point on I decided to try to get all the boys made to have at least one complete AG doll collection. I've mostly picked up used dolls locally on FB Marketplace. Logan has come up for $50 twice but I've missed him both times. Anyway, I purchased the two new TM boys because I didn't want to lose out on getting them and I had the money to pay full price (plus got extra points due to 3 o 4x reward offers). I ended up finding TM #74 (the blonde) at Marshalls last Christmas for $80. This year (was informed of this by another AG KZbinr) I was told that AG had some TM#75s for sale for Black Friday !! I called yesterday, hurriedly, and ordered him because I was afraid that he'd sell out quickly. Five down, two to go. What did I name my TM #104 ? When I opened the package and took him out and looked at him I said, "Oh, look ! It's Eddie Haskell." So that is his name. Can't unsee it now. P.S. Buy the bat outfit if it hasn't sold out yet. That is a super good price and it's cute. I bought that before Halloween and thought that it would be the one to sell out but it didn't.

I think Gavin, Devon, Jonas, Brett, and Derrick are decent names. It's hard to name boys! It took me almost until my son was born to name him. We ended up agreeing on Gabriel because my ex didn't like the same names as me. I would have named him Devon if it was up to me. That was the name I picked out for a boy when I was a teenager 😀 Brett and Derrick are my uncles' names and I always thought they were good names. I think it's great they started to make boy dolls and congrats on getting your 104! They started that a while ago, right? Didn't they go away and then come back? I wasn't into AG after the early '00s until a couple years ago when I got back into it from nostalgia and getting out my 30yo dolls.

It’s such a dilemma, right!? I have a modern part of my collection so she’d just go there. I think the color streaks are fun. Your best bet would probably be to put her hair in a strategic ponytail. Honestly I’d just get the truly me version of her if it were the same price. But a $35 discount might make you not mind the blue as much. I def say don’t buy a doll if you think her hair will just bug you until you sell her. Happy Thanksgiving!

@@melissabazile The TM #124 is Corinne .2. I don't do colored hair so I won't buy Corinne. I'm trying to collect all the different facemolds and #124 has the Corinne facemold. This works for me if you're not really trying to get a whole line like GOTY or Historical (I won't collect that many dolls because #1. I don't have the space and #2 I don't have the money to buy used in mint condition with Meet outfits). It depends on why you want her ? Because she's a GOTY or just because of how she looks ? TM #124 is also a beautiful doll.
