It is not a bird, it is the angel from heaven who brought the holy chrism for the baptism of Clovis, first king of France or the Franks and the 3000 warriors baptized at the same time as him in 496 AD. The cathedral of Reims was the place of baptism of the kings of France from 496 to the French revolution in 1789, more than a millennium.

Toutes nos cathédrales sont une merveille d'architecture sacrée grâce aux bâtisseurs du moyen âge. Reims a la particularité d'avoir couronné beaucoup de rois de France. Je suis éblouie par ce jeu de lumière et musique qui transposent si bien cet édifice religieux

Videomapping has become very common on many of the cathedrals of Europe. Almost too common because it doesn't amaze us as much as it used to.

Reims cathedral is where the French kings were sacred, that’s why there are all these royal symbols. The light show is quite repetitive after a while but Reims is a traditional and conservative city, so I don’t think they’re into full moon parties light shows 😅

Likely it is "the white dove", the miraculous bird who brought the sacred oil for the coronation of the kings, from the sky. St Louis was the first king sacred here as this building was not finished...then came Philip III, Philip IV called "Le Bel", his three sons after him who all perished without heir, then came the "Valois" Philip VI, John II, Charles V "The wise", Charles Vi who became mad and the most emotional coronation with Charles VII led here by Joan d'Arc....and all the kings after will folow .

@@first-dooblette6911 Clovis n'a pas été baptisé dans cette cathédrale mais dans un batiment qui a été par la suite recouvert par un baptitère, et ensuite par une première église détruite dans un incendie en 1210 . Le début de la construction de cette cathédrale date date d'environs 1226 . Tu peux garder tes insultes, parce que pour ramener sa fraise en matrisant aussi mal le sujet, c'est vraiment passer pour un gros débile !
