Cool video idea, even though I disagree with some of the song choices. I'd forgotten how bad some of these people were. It's funny hearing the transition from Antonella to Sabrina. The quality of singing drastically improves.

Sundance Head should have gone much further that year. And blues singer Akron Watson should have been in the Top 24. After Sundance's and Akron's auditions were shown, I predicted a Sundance vs. Akron finale. A Sundance vs. Akron Idol finale would have been one of the best finales ever.

yeah i totally agree. i didn't watch the first 2 seasons, season 3 and 6 were probably the worst, i loved season 4, but season 5 is my all time favorite. and so far i love season 7!

Season 7 is soooooo much better too,season 6 made loose my interest for idol for a while, but i think that no season will beat season 5 i enjoyed that season sooo much, its my fave till date, but maybe season 7 make me change my mind who knows.

The most talented and versatile singer/songwriter of the Season was Nicole Tranquillo, she could have rocked Heart, serenaded the girls of Moulin Rouge, the Jazz Greats, and sang/rapped her A__ off with Badu, Nicks, Ronstadt, and Ms. Nicki Minaj. A true artist in every sense of the word…..Simon and Randy made the biggest mistake of their lives that night.

I think you're referring to Season 10. That's where it stopped. Because out of all the original American Idol seasons, this one was the worst. The people they let in were terrible. I think you're referring to this season for people being in the top 12 based on looks instead of talent (@Haley and all the guys except Blake). Season 7 was maybe the best season of Idol in terms of talent tho. Fantastic cast. Season 6 was a dud.

for me season 5 was the worst season because sooo many amazing voices went home o early and it made the competition boring example mandisa chris and paris i feel went to early taylor should not have won it should of been one of those 3 or katharine. taylor won because he had that whole likability thing not because of his voice and i have a feeling david archuleta from this season will have the same thing but i dnt think he will win
