Iniesta is the best midfielder of all time and I will die on that hill. He could score, pass, assist, and dribble better than most wingers, but his trophy cabinet and run is crazy: 2006 - UCL 2008 - EURO 2009 - UCL 2010 - WC 2011 - UCL 2012 - EURO

English fans and media whining about Pep Guardiola is just that, whining. There is a reason no English manager has been able to ever win the premier league and how incompetent is that? They have not won a major international trophy for decades. They hate Pep because he will keep on winning and has won a lot especially defeating an English team in two of his Champions League final victories too.
@Z33NwaАй бұрын
You won’t find many, if any, English fans or media that hate Guardiola, not sure what would give you that impression but Pep is respected across the board
@saianeeshvinmani165Ай бұрын
I’ve been saying this and I’ll die on this hill, modern English football doesn’t exist. It’s a myth. The premier league is full of imported playstyle because their attitudes towards the game are very outdated and anti-football. PR merchants through and through.

Pep has nothing do with that English manager hasnt win premier league.

The formula one guy Sainz was actually a world rally champion but his son is a formula 1 driver. There are awesome F1 history videos on youtube, you'll enjoy them. F1 has a massive following although football is far bigger.

Iniesta is in the top 5 of football history for me. He played such a big role in Spain's and Barcelona's golden ages. His teams dominated (European) football for most of his career.
@mrmr5580Ай бұрын
La Masia (Barcelona's academy) has produced some absolute ballers, Iniesta, Messi, Xavi, Busquets, Puyol, Pique, Jordi Alba previously you had Pep Guardiola, Sergi (a Spain national team full back in the 90's), nowadays Gavi, Pedri, Yamal, even Ansu Fatu pre-injury, there's loads more I could mention, even some guys that moved on like Xavi Simons (Dutch National team young star) or Riqui Puig (a star at LA Galaxy now), point is La Masia is a talent factory😢
@LauraGS564Ай бұрын
@@mrmr5580 Pedri isn't from La Masia, though we Barca fans like to believe he is. He was bought from Las Palmas.

He is the only player i thought it was worth having his name on the back of my shirts. My absolute fave player ever (together with Puyol). He was humble, he was electric, a teamplayer, smart and unpredictable. I miss the times when I was a kid watching him play and wanting to be like him on the pitch myself.

Anyone saying Pep is ruining football has no idea about the game at all. it is not mechanical, it is strategical. He wins again and again and that is the problem for them. How City plays is not mechanical, it is beautiful football and especially what he did with Barca.

when I was 18 I went to pick up a friend from his school to go play football and he studied in the same school where all "La Masia" players studied so I found Iniesta and Victor Valdes eating a sandwich and I can tell Iniesta was so small I couldn't believe he was a real player! We knew Iniesta since he was 12 because he was a really talented player and by that time he was only 14, but he was so little it made no sense...

Reacting to F1 would be very interesting to watch, but I think it's so much harder to get into it in comparison to football. The races themselves are relatively boring (and I'm speaking as a massive fan of the sports since mid 90s) and it's mostly the narrative-driven interest that keep it entertaining meaning drama around drivers, teams, that sort of thing. I think in terms of pure drama, the sheer scale of it, it's probably one of the best sports out there, but I can imagine it can be very hard to get to the point where you actually get what's happening and why it's so interesting to the fans.

These same bitter idiotic EPL fans slandered pep guardiola for years saying he would fail if he joins their league only for him to dominate it, it’s kind of like how they’ve slandered Messi for years and kept on claiming he wouldn’t be as successful in their league because it’s apparently tough when he has the most goals against their epl teams in the UCL. 😂😭🤡 this is why no one takes anything they say seriously. Their league is only functional because of the foreign players and coaches, take them all and all you have left is a copy of how they play with their failed international team 😂😭 English players look good due to the foreign players playing alongside them. 😂 no style or identity just long ball and physicality that don’t work most of the time against talented teams.
