William C. Yes, ever since I have been young and watched the original sasuke, I have wanted to do this. I've been training now for 2+ years to build the upper body endurance needed for a stage 3 run. I can't thank you enough for all of your encouragement. It truly means a lot to me!

This had to cost a lot more than just $500. I went to Lowes and priced the lumber and tools just to get an idea for how much it would cost to put in a double salmon ladder. Looking at all of the lumber, the mounting brackets and taking a guess that you used concrete and anchors + wedge anchors for your 11 ground posts. I'm guessing probably around $800-1,100. Just for a double salmon ladder (minus the bar and extra costs for safety (soft ground for landing on and safety rope on the bar to prevent it from hitting me on the head), my estimates were about $320 before tax.

***** after totaling up everything for the updated course, it was right around 1,200--give or take some.
