Great reaction it was done for the Australian/NSW Rugby League. It was great back then when it first came out and still is today. Salute to the Grandma of Rock n Roll.

Simply the best* was always played before the games started, was always good punch ups and the refs just stood back and waited for the them to finish fighting. Good times

In the Early 90's came Simply the Best and Jimmy Barnes was added with Tina Best sports commercials in OZ history

89 was this song, 90 was Simply The Best (with only Tina) then around 92 or 93 Jimmy was added to Simply The Best and became one of the best versions of the ads

Och, I really wish you had watched the proper, full, official video for this song, one of my all time favourite sings from the late, great Tina Turner, and this version cut out before the best bit... If you get a chance please do the original version and if you cant do it on the show, please go have a wee look for yourselves. Keep smiling 😂❤

When Tina left Ike it was really hard for her but the rugby clubs always supported her. In return, she didn't take a cent for the promos. And another little snippet, this was aimed only at women. Because the number of women members were dropping. They now say it was the most successful ad campaign ever. Hmmmmm. Wonder why??? Lol.
