I'm from Glasgow in Scotland. The Scottish accent he's shouting is that of the people who belong to the "United Free Church of Scotland", or "The Wee Frees" as we call them. Every Saturday, you'll find 2 of them in the City Centre with sweaty week old white shirts and wrinkled black ties, shouting into a microphone at the top of their voices about how we're all going to hell and it serves us all damned right in the exact voice Al is using. They have absolutely no sense of humour because their religion forbids any kind of enjoyment. I think we're meant to instantly repent, but personally I walk along the street for about 10 yards and watch the robotic dancer.

I think the reason he didn't do the German accent is it's too obvious, and some countries you just can't do like Chinese, Japanese, Indian, African and Mexican without people crying "racism". With most of the accents he chose, people don't seem to have an issue with as they are predominantly white countries. Al isn't racist or xenophobic as all his humour is inoffensive, but in this day and age you have to be careful with certain nationalities.

@@MandyCaneLane Don't get me wrong, as someone who grew up in the 70s and 80s where there was a lot of racist, mysogynistic or homophobic humour, and it was just accepted, I fully understand that there is no place for that shit now. We grew up and we wised up. That said I think we have gone too far in the other direction where everything is missenterpreted or offensive. There has and will always be friendly rivalries between certain nationalities, but while most people understand it is just said in jest with no malicious intent, there is that special group of people who just want to make problems out of everything. One of my closest friends is Scottish. I am English, and we are forever taking the piss out of the other because of our nationality. Hell, one of my friends comes from Newcastle and we always make the north/south jokes. I do not think that doing an accent is racist unless the joke itself is, but that is not the way some people see it. I have friends of all sorts of nationalities, genders, sexualities, races and disabilities, and part of those friendships is jokes at our own expense as well as others. Being ginger, you can imagine the jokes that get aimed at me for that, but there is a huge difference between joking comments and malicious insults, and thankfully I am intelligent enough to know which is which and not get offended every five minutes.

He should have done a German accent, because his Dutch one was crap. How do I know? You may guess once 😀 The Scottish one was my favorite, its an excellent comedy language ( Yep. there is that name again Billy Connolly), because its an expressive one, still funny even if you dont understand a word of it. Btw if he asks for a name, he always mentions its a proper English name and often give some funny meaning to it
