Sean had a TV series in 2004 called 15 Storeys High (available on KZbin). It’s super bizarre and hilarious. His co-star is Benedict Wong who’s in the Dr. Strange movies now. My favorite episode is called Blue Rat because the whole premise is ridiculous.

He has a surreal edge. He came to our screens in the early 90’s with Eddie Izzard and Vic and Bob. Surrealism was in vogue and it became the go to style in many youth culture shows. Sean had that beautiful combination of the absurd, the surreal and a huge dose of cynicism.

Love vic and bob but Eddie izzard - well another gem of a comedian, such a great and convoluted story teller - I would recommend Boomer starts with the classic Darth Vader canteen sketch and then onto his earlier material. Also worth a mention is Sean’s sketch about Madonna and her growler.

Sean Lock made a one off TV series called '15 Storeys High'. I thought it was hilarious because it was so incredibly understated and off the wall, but I suppose audiences just didn't get it at the time and he didn't make any more. He sat oppose me once on a flight from London Docklands to the Isle of Man. I regret not just going up to him and telling him what a fan I was.

That show is well worth watching, it's split into 10 parts on youtube somewhere, they used to be named p1,p2 etc but were renamed as they got more views as clips. That was part 10, highly recommend you piece them together, one of his greatest shows ;)

Pretty much everything this guy did was funny. Dave allen was funny but mostly got laughs out of religion and politics which was somewhat controversial for an irishman in those days. So he was either loved or hated Sean just ripped everything apart. What was amazing was he got diagnosed with cancer in the 1990's and basically worked throughout his treatments. He actually found out about his cancer from a girl who saw the cancer on his back and told him and said that needs checking out. Had that not happened he would have died alot sooner. I loved 8/10 cats but since he died it's just not the same... it's funny but there is a part of that show that died with him
