All their sketches were quite good. The dentist, divorced dad, children's tv presenters, old time pianists, Mr.Stafford and his butler Veal, vampires, football Tony, and the P.E. teacher - there is more but that's all I remember - are worth checking out. Great reaction by the way. Glad you enjoy Armstrong & Miller.

There was a comic relief special with Mitchell & Webb guesting if you can find it . These are always funny , and cleverly shot to match the war films of the 40's and 50's , you have to wonder what today's youngsters really would be like in that situation .

You should watch a whole episode all their sketches are good. They do a sketch with children's TV presenters apologising it's based on an actual incident when a Blue Peter presenter was caught taking drugs and fired and the makers of show apologised to the audience.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but they had a show on Channel 4 in the late 90s, before the BBC stuff - which had some great stuff in it. "Nude Practice" was fun, but my favourite was "Force on the Case", about an alcoholic detective - still quote some stuff from that with friends that remember it!

these two had several series of comedy, that was really unique, with regular charactors, the two WW2 RAF. officer charactor's, were send-up's, with their typical posh -boy accents, were set in modern day situations. They think they are in peach-time, crossing the channel on holiday, instead of D'-Day.

Awesome stuff! 😂♥ So glad you're onto Armstrong and Miller now. They are top drawer UK comedy, not every sketch is gold but no comedy actor / show ever is, however they're often on excellent to great form. One of their best characters you *need* to see is what I'd call 'The man with the imaginary family'. There is an official clip of this on KZbin called; The Armstrong and Miller Show | The Man With The Imaginary Family. But I would not recommend that one, as it has multiple sketches that have been chopped up and put together out of order and context. It totally sucks. Watch the one on KZbin called; The Armstrong and Miller Show - Testing This has all 4 or 5 sketches of this character and they play normally (not chopped up). Please do this above clip. You'll die from laughing.

So many Armstrong and Miller sketches. There are more of the pilots. They do a sketch of teachers moderating exams and becoming bored. It is fair to say they were referencing the film TBotRK, probably more so than the book. but tbh I'd rather just say they were referencing the actual historically recorded and greatly studied horrors, even if unintentionally, one could say the increased incongruity makes it even funnier. in any case, as i said in my other post, it seems extremely clear you wouldnt intentionally forget. keep on Booming and keep on being something of a muppet mate and we'#ll keep on being muppets back at you.
