At 7:05 the Swans defender had the ball and stepped back through his own goals giving a point to the opposition, The controversy here is that they can only do this when the player is under opposition pressure which he clearly was. For some reason the umpire had a brain fade and awarded a free kick to the opposition.

Ryan, you need to watch an actual game instead of watching videos on one aspect such as best marks, biggest bumps, etc. it’s difficult to comment if you don’t know the broad rules. A behind (1 point) is not a try. That’s rugby.

Ryan, Toby Greene got suspended for 3 weeks for shouldering umpire Matt Stevic. He tried to claim he didn’t even realise he’d done it at the time, which the Tribunal didn’t buy for a moment. He’s the same player in the first clip who jumped to catch the ball with his foot in the air to catch one of his opponents high with his studs. The AFL had to bring in a rule to make it crystal clear that move isn’t acceptable. Greene is a talented player but he’s known for doing some really dumb stuff in the heat of the moment.
