We still swim in the beach even with all those pets around because we aren't scared... much, the driver part is true because so many are either impatient asses or just don't pay attention, indicators are optional extras on cars here

A leg spin bowler bowling to a left hander is effectively an off spinner (the ball lands on the batsman's off side, and then bounces towards the batsman's leg side). When bowling to right handed batsman, the ball usually lands wide of the batsman's legs, and bounces towards the off side. It is very hard to do, and I've only managed to do it a couple of times. Much easier to bowl off spin. Spin bowlers usually bowl far slower than fast or medium pace bowlers, using flight and the change of direction after hitting the ground to force a mistake from the batsman (mishit that is then caught, LBW, or completely missing the ball and allowing it to hit the stumps). As you can see - Warne was great at getting huge change of direction after the ball hit the ground, which often left batsmen with no way to play the ball. Varying the speed of delivery also causes problems for the batsmen.

We live in snakesville 😂😂😂. You have to be aware. It’s true that if you’re not used to creepy craw lies. Go oversees. Kangaroos can swipe and knock you down, but rarely it happens. Wannnabeeee you cannot swim at certain times of the earth up in the Great Barrier Reef, as the poison jellyfish 🪼 deadly We have the highest melanomas in Oz. You have to keep out of the sun, but you see fools who burn from the sun 😂😂😂😂 Oh how clever !!!!! We have much better beer than fosters. Have thousands of different beers. We have some of the greatest wines in the world too. No not fosters is crap. Want to bet meat pies baked in the middle of nowhere outback. Yep I live right on the beach golden sand, watch the humpback whales, dolphins. Boats. Etc Little towns are everywhere. Snow in the highlands. Gets cold in certain places in winter. Rainforests are beautiful, but watch for the nasties, spiders , snakes. Make noises to scare the snakes. Summer here now Xmas. Tasmania is beautiful, Bullshit we were not locked up, we all have vaccinations regularly. We don’t carry guns, and everyone the the rifles away to the government. Have been around America and it’s fantastic amazing scenery, wow. Loved it in USA, BUT I would not live there permanently. Lots of dead Roos and koala beards, we drive slow . They are so sweet bears. That is silly kangaroos can’t hide very well. If you in the outback Australia just squat in the bush and gooooo.

To the point of people being so close in old footage comes down to the older technology. Tighter film aspect ratios meant you had to be closer to keep in frame, microphones were pretty rubbish and could pick up ambient interference easier. Then also people probably didn’t care so much about the concept of personal space and germs and what have you.

There's a song that was released to raise money to rebuild Darwin. It's called " Santa never made into Darwin." I was just a kid at the I remember alot of kids donated one of their Xmas presents for the children who lost everything that night. I also remember pulling up at a set of traffic lights and there were people with donation tins to raise money. To this day, I still play the song to remember what happened. There was no evacuation as they didn't expect it to be as bad as it was.

Australia is not the most isolated country in the world. It's near one of the most populated regions in the world (south Asia). I think Americans and British just think that because Australia is long way from their countries.
