The reason why they're using their scarves it's because Anorthosis Famagusta is a team that was founded in 1911, in the occupied area of Cyprus called "Famagusta". (Cyprus is halfoccupied and Famagusta belongs to the occupied area. Anorthosis is one of the few things that cypriots brought with them during the Turkish invasion in 1974 and managed to keep it alive through the tragedy of war, through thick and thin). On the scarf that they are holding there's writing concerning Famagusta e.g. Freedom to Famagusta so they dedicate a minute signing for their town which is still occupied after 46 years, revealing their unstoppable lust and desire for return.

Anorthosis has a huge fanbase all over Cyprus. There are many fans outside the country aswell. The stadium is not that big but big enough for our country if you know what I mean. Btw won the cup final last night and the place was on fire! 🔵⚪

Am a bit late here but mate, most of the clips are games away from our stadium! So its less people! Our home games have like 5-10k supporters! But imagine being away and our ultras ruling the pitch.. we have newer videos showcasing better choreos! You are welcome to come and watch
