Hey Squirrel, I used to watch Bobby Davro, I have not thought of him in a long time, it was good to see him again. I remember the comedian he was imitating, his catchphrase not surprisingly was "chase me, chase me", he was funny & definitely original at the time. :)

Bobby went through a phase of 'not being cool' and to some became a bit like the ongoing joke regarding Des O'Connor with comedy duo Morecambe and Wise. He had many a TV show and made many appearances in the 80's. To be honest I'd forgotten the stuff he used to do and seeing his Max Headroom at the beginning of this clip brought back a few memories.

Duncan is still working, but unfortunately for Duncan and Bobby they've both suffered strokes, Duncan is now Ambassador for Stroke Association in the UK he had two on the same night, his girlfriend rang him and his legs went from under him at home and by the time he arrived at hospital had another, so actually good job his girlfriend rang him, otherwise as he says in more recent interviews he would've died in bed and not known anything about it, this was about a decade or so ago, and more recently Bobby had one this year, he works quite a bit with Jim Davidson on his channel and some live shows, he also lost his wife although can't remember if they got around too marrying I think that was only last year, she was the daughter of a football player of yesteryear and mum was one of three Sisters who sang together The Beverley Sisters

Davro was a funny guy still is, good impressionist, UK Celebs mainly.

Saw Bobby live in Blackpool, a goodly number of years ago. Think he was funny, but beer got in the way
