Estonia, Latvia And Lithuania, the Baltic’s historically started from the Baltic tribes. We are completely different with our own special branch from the Language tree. We are rich with more, than 800 year old traditions. Over the centuries being occupied, but free and proud countries today. Love my brothers and sisters, Estonians and Lithuanians! ❤️ Sending love from Riga! 🇱🇻

Just a quick correction, there are no customs for products transported between Helsinki and Tallinn, both countries are members of the EU.

Correction on the first 10 seconds: swedes ruled here for only 70-80 years or so (+/- ) in the early 1630s to around 1710-1720. We were under Russian rule from 1720 to 1918 when we gained our independence. So I would say we were mostly ruled by the Russians rather than the Swedish. (just wanted to correct the fact, I don't expect everyone to know Estonias history xd)

"kali" or"kvass" or "kbacc" ( the bread water ) is amazing. Imagine home brew that hasn't reacted enough to get a lot of alcohol in it yet ( the drink usually has ~0.8 vol. alcohol in it ) and thus it's rather sweet because the sugar is still in the drink and hasn't turned to ethanol yet. It's like rye bread soda

okay, for anyone wondering Pelmeeni aren't something we or the russians invented, they're just traditional chinese meat dumplings, we just call them "pelmeenid" tho a lot of people like to deep fry them, fry them on a pan and boil them in water, what i do is use a chinese bamboo steamer, works wonders on the dumplings and imo it's the best way to cook them, keeps it nice and moist.
