Yes, and I'm pretty sure Graham Linehan is the man who walks past the cross Ted erects outside the Parochial House and says "Some madman's put up a cross!" as well as the voice that says "F**kin' hell!" during that late scene in "Chirpy Burpy Cheap Sheep". Sounds like him anyway. He also appears in The IT Crowd (which he wrote) as a member of the mariachi band in "Messy Joe's" and both he and Mathews together appear in I'm Alan Partridge, although they had no part writing that.

It's the absurd diversity of priests in the universe of Father Ted that always tickles me. Caricatures who would in reality have no business whatsoever being priests or carrying out priestly duties. Father Damo's one of the funniest of these.

I like that Larry got away for once. He was a spectator this time around. I think the picnic area must be somewhere in The Burren, an area along the south west coast of Ireland, that's just huge areas of land covered in rock like that. You'd expect lots of green, because, you know, Ireland. But looking at it from far away, it looks like a load of hills covered in sugar. It's both weird and beautiful to drive through. Jim saw the thief, so you'd almost think Ted would say he's dying again, and that's why he 'stole' the whistle.

Great episode. (Flight into terror) and (The mainland) are really good as well. The Mainland only really requires a knowledge of a catchphrase from a different show ( "I don't believe it" -- from the show One foot in the grave ), the main actor ending up really disliking the catchphrase.
