Glühwein at home? For sure. You need some cheep Red Wine, some Oranges, Sugar, and Glühfix. Glühfix is a spice mixture (you can get it in every supermarket) and is like a tea bag. If you like it a little stronger, add a little rum. 😁 Greetings from Germany.

The City of Augsburg , Bavaria, returned streets of the old part of town to cobblestone for their 2000 year celebration which was about 2 Years ago. The mindset was that paved streets just dont cut it for such an old city, being so old, which wenn you see it is absolutely right.

I always thought German beer was the best, especially Augustiner, but here in the Czech Republic there is Gambrinus and also craft beer and that is really better than German beer, it has less alcohol and almost not so sweez and I need German bread and weisswurscht cau

Czech beer has an excellent reputation in Germany. After all, some of the most famous beers are named after Czech towns like Budweis and Pilsen.

I guess tastes are different. Gambrinus is not that great, if you ask me (also not the biggest fan of Augustiner, too sweet, too... "light"). Czech beer is pretty awesome, but I would never say that it is better than German. There are soooo many breweries in Germany, especially in places like Franconia (just the other day drove like an hour, went to an store and they had like beer from 20 breweries that I never heard of), you will find your perfect beer. You will find beer that you like more than most Czech beer, you will find beer that you like less...

about public transportation. germany doesn't blow it away at all. at least for EU standards. it's literally one of the worst in the whole EU. at least the "deutsche bahn" is ranked at the last or second-last place in europe. it's a mess. it's just a mess. most other countries in europe are by FAR better then germany in that aspect. germany is not even able to keep up with eastern european, way poorer countries in that specifiec field. and as 3rd biggest economy in the world, this is a disgrace to europe - even more because it's very central and many people want to or need to go through the country to reach another place by trains. compared to the usa: yeah. it blows everything away. but thats not a reference for europeans if it comes to public transport.
