The pulutan shown there are inihaw na liempo ( grilled pork belly) and sisig. The tuna is actually canned tuna a popular canned food in the country.

The "chaser" is usually coke or just water, depending on what the drink is. I live in the Philippines, so when we drink, if it is rum or brandy, the chaser is coke. IF it is gin, which is the most popular drink here, it is usually just water (called tubig).

Acrually a large population of "Spaniards" who came to the Philippines during colonial times were from Mexico. So, I bet we have a lot more things in common with Mexicans than actual present-day Spanish people. 😅

different explorer, Hernan Cortes started his expedition in 1519. as for the Philippines it was Ferdinand Magellan in 1521 straight form spain. so it wasn't Spaniards from mexico. but you're right we have a lot in common, pinoys and mexicans are brothers 😅😅
