I was in West Edmonton Mall and ordered a ''Montreal Style Smoked Meat Sandwich''. I was served a Pastrami sandwich on white bread. If you want a real Smoked Meat Sandwich, go to Montreal... or New York city.

Smoked Meat Sandwiches are made with Beef Brisket. Butter Tarts, Saskatoon Pie and Pan-Fried Perogies with Fried Onions and Bacon are all Canadian Staples and a must if you come to Canada. You can wash everything down with a Caesar.

I think if he doesn't remember if the Schwartz deli smoke meat sandwich enough to say if it's better than the one in Waterloo is probably because it's just as good. Poutine does not come from Montréal, but from the center of Québec, but now it's famous all over Canada so...... everyone can claim it. The sweet yellow cream in the middle of the Nanaimo bars IS NOT custard, if you say so you have no idea what is custard.....I adore Nanaimo bars from the first bite I ever took over 30 yrs ago and now a distillery in Ontario makes a Nanaimo Bar Cream to drink, it's like Irish Cream style, I just love it in my coffee on week-ends (of course).

Yes they do have a cookies and cream Beavertail (sometimes called The COCO VANIL’ )... not all locations carry the full menu so its best to check

tbh smoked meat sandwich isn't really about the taste but more about the value. it cost too much and its juicy and it fills you up. small correction about their video. the best poutine isn't in montréal. and it wasn't from montreal. the actual city of origin isn't clear cause it pretty much appeared at 3 different cities around the same time. Also the best poutine is in Granby at the "Cantine chez ben"

I bought my first Beaver Tail at a shack on the Rideau Canal at Dow's Lake in February 2006. I could not decide between chocolate hazelnut and maple so I bought one of each and slapped them together. Then I skated for 2 hours in -20 below cold to work off the calories lol.

There's this guy in laval that makes the tastiest smoked meat poutines ever. It's a little place next to an industrial area and it deserves a better spot. I think it's called achoura deli.

Restaurants International bought out Tim Hortons and got rid of their long time coffee brand and brought in their own bilgewater brand. Tim Hortons quality has taken a steep nose dive since they took over.

They're training the staff now to ignore anyone at the counter until there are no cars left in the drive-thru. You can stand there for ten minutes and no one will even look your way.

Dunn's for me, is a better smoked meat sandwich, both in Montreal and Ottawa I am not sure about the Beaver Tails flavours, sorry They seem to be only going to chain restaurants Timmies coffee is 🤢 Nanamo bars are great, i can make you some 😊
