If you notice next to the names of the players, it tells you what 3-dart finish a player is likely to go... "BULL T15 D20" for Wade's 135 finish; bullseye, Treble 15, double 20. It saves you having to work it out instantly :) Occasionally a player may go a different route but the finishing-out math will be updated next to the name to show what they need.

If some one said to you, "I bet I can throw a tiny arrow and hit a tiny circle no larger than half an inch from 9feet away". You'd tell them that would be impossible. And darts is mainly a pub game over here too. Most towns and villeges will have a pub team and play in a league. It's good because half the games are held your pub and the other half are held in other pubs so you get a fun night out seeing all the local pubs in the area. It's just that we also a world tournament. All most everyone of those people in the crowd would be in their pub team or at least one member of their group would be.

Couldn't agree more. I played for a ladies darts team. Thursday evenings were fun , like you said at your home pub or club (mine was a working men's club) or away. Had a reason to see the different pubs with your team. Charity and competition events were cool too. Such a cheap nyt out too if your in a social club. Oddly enough I play better after a few 🤷‍♀️. Also got to meet Simon Whitlock which was great too.

When I used to play for fun a bit, I developed an upward wrist-flicking throw. A sideways wrist flick also works. It doesn't matter how you throw, as long as you get consistency. The darts are designed to fly straight and not tumble in flight by the distribution of weight in the dart, and the plastic flights at the back to add stabilisation. So however it leaves your hand, it will correct to flying straight.

You have to finish on a double to win a leg of darts. You are working out what they need to hit backwards. Start with the double and then work out what you need to get you to that double.

You'd never deliberatly go for the ring around the bull. That's counted as a single, the bull is a double. To remove the odd number you'd be thinking about the treble 17 or treble 19.

My mother watches darts religiously. 170 is the highest out, 9 dart finish is the minimum number of throws you can score 501 in darts, every player has an individual way they throw darts. If you ever get the chance to attend a darts match in the UK then I highly recommend it, you would have an awesome time. I know they do have darts matches in Las Vegas. Also do you ever go to Grand Central Station and watch the squash matches there? Now there is a fast moving game. 🤣😂🤣😂🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸

Quadro board. No longer used. Was used in a couple of gimmick tournaments back in the 90’s 170 is the highest possible finish on a dartboard. The bullseye being a double also as it’s double 25(Green outer bull) Winner of the world championship this year will pocket £500,000 Cheeky is like being rude(negative) or being a chancer(trying his luck)

Dart players know it off by heart but often on the left hand side of the names and scores are they will show you the most likely combos once a finish is available, for example at score 170 on the left hand of the name it will show T20,T20,BULL

You’ll notice sometimes if their mental arithmetic isn’t that good and they throw a wayward dart it might take them a while to work out what they need, or ask the umpire.

A child can be cheeky and that's generally a bad thing, like saying a swear word to you. When applied to an adult though it's tongue in cheek. "cheeky" lol... it's basically when someone 1 ups you and they had no right too, if that makes sense 😅

to make the maths easier ,you idealy want one of your favourite doubles to finish , say double top , so if your going for 85 like in the video you are left with 45 which triple 15 gets you , you kinda work it backwards and it gets quicker and easier .
@peterwilliamson5953
@peterwilliamson5953 2 жыл бұрын
know you triples
@peterwilliamson5953
@peterwilliamson5953 2 жыл бұрын
to clarify , the double has to be in the equation to qualify an out , other ways to count , if you have say a high odd number like i dunno 135 , you need a triple odd number in the equation . wee tricks like that .
@peterwilliamson5953
@peterwilliamson5953 2 жыл бұрын
also once you get below 110 you have to think less of triple 20 to get the numbers down a half of them dont give you an out .. i.e. in the video you used triple 20 to equate 85 , the 25 in the middle isn't an out .

On some of the finishes they are not showing you the other darts that have been thrown so thats why your math usnt working out . CHEEKY its a playful naughtyness and a negative generally selfishness, first the good cheeky, not meaning any harm but maybe pushing it a little, eg if pinched my mates last sweet he would call me a cheeky bastard knowing its wasnt right for me to do so but knowing it was not spite but playful to get a reaction, also knowing that he doesnt really mind me pinching it. People who push the boundaries will also be called cheeky in a negative way same eg as above but hes not such a good friend and i take his last sweet this would be a nasty cheeky bastard response. I hope this helps but that really hard to define, ps spelling is my strong point.

Regaridng Paul Nichiolson's 58. First dart wanted Single 18 and he missed hitting the big 4. Not good. Second dart wanted single 14 and missed hitting Double 9. AWFUL! This left 36 which is double 18 (one of th ebtter doubles on the board) and he took it out so a routine finish in a highly unorthodox way. 170 is the highest way to win a leg you can do in 3 darts. Sometimes called the big fish for good reason. MVG was one of the top performers (still is but he is no longer no 10, somewhere in thte top 5 though). A Robionm hood id where one dart hits the other ones in the board and sticks in either the shaft or the flight. The one you saw technically wasn't a robin hood but was still entertaining. The 180 out is only possible on the now defunkt quattro board! I play darts in the local league and can give you tips on how to play if need be. If you want to review a WEIRD darts video look up the slowest professional darts player ever Terry Down. 1983 blackthorn masters (video is on youtube by the way) he plays (and beats) a legend in the form of Jocky Wilson.........find it and you will be stupefied!

Connor if you are referring to the crowd when you say how do they know what to go for? At the big events there is a large electronic dart board out of camera shot showing where the scoring dart has landed by lighting up.

You're basicall tryi g to get it where you finish on an easy double. Getting to need 32 is one of the best options. If you miss D16 and hit S16, then it's D8, hit S8, you need D4, hit S4 you need D2, hit S2 you need D1. So that 32 finish is preferred as it give you lots of options if you miss. Plus, it's on a nice place of the board. If you aim a bit too high, it goes in, aim a bit too low, it goes in.
